So at the end of last season and after a few trips North to Cedar Point we decided we upgrade our passes to Platinum passes this year. I did just that during the huge sale. Now today I went to print off the forms to process the passes tomorrow and it says DO NOT DISCARD THE OLD PASSES and it says they are activated already. Now these passes are gold. Now I wouldn't normally care about the color of the pass as long as it works at Cedar Point and Carowinds but I noticed when we were there for ERT and such folks just flashed the Platinum pass and they were on their way. I don't want this to be an issue when we make our first trip up North and was wondering if anyone knows if I can just go tomorrow and ask for them to go ahead and process new passes. I already called the park and the gentleman although super helpful and super nice was unable to give me a for sure answer. Any help or suggestions would be wonderful. Thanks in advance!!

I think everyone just feels something different. Maybe too capacity plays a role in the ride as well? I was on a train with 5 others.

^^^I love Racer I think it's very smooth compared to Blue Streak. I felt like I was violently flung against the lap bar over the small hills and it hurt somewhat.

We sat in the 3rd row on Blue Streak and 2nd row on Mean Streak.

Guess I shouldn't say everyone. I have just heard it before and I was surprised when it wasn't at all rough.

Why does everyone say this is a rough coaster all the time. We rode it Sunday and it wasn't all that bad. Now Blue Streak on the other hand was the worst wooden coaster I have ever been on!

If I renew from a Gold Pass to a Platinum Pass right now could I visit Cedar this year for free. I figure the answer is no but hey why not ask.

I want to pose a question on this topic and see what others think. Could adding seat belts on Diamondback have possibly lowered the insurance policy that they carry on the ride?

They could also have a system where you rent the locker online before you ever enter the park that way the only one that will be looking over my shoulder is my cat.

It's a very small purse, smaller than a fanny pack even. We carry my wallet, smart key with a house key and both gold passes and our id's. Is any type of carry pouches permitted?

We rode Banshee 4 times in a row today and me and my wife love it. My only complaint is the fact that we had rode many other rides throughout the day, my wife always brings a small purse that she wears over her shoulder, and we took it on every other ride but we had to shell out 2 dollars to ride Banshee. Will they add some bins later after all the hype or will this be normal to have to pay to ride basically?
