  1. Uhhhhh......Refills are .99$ during the whole season when purchased, and I wouldn't think you would get a free drinky drink when you had a full cup, but exchanged it, if one can.

I meant the free refills for the first day

  2. My dad, after telling him not to, washed my b\Banshee cup in the dishwasher. My local park is Cedar Point so I didn't want the stupid Pipe Scream cup. Now my cup is in a weird shape that is the farthest thing from a cylinder. I heard that you can exchange your cup for a new one but without the free refills. Is this true? I didn't know what category to put this under so I just did Kings Island.

  3. Yeah. I doubt this means anything at all.

On a side note, I don't really understand why everybody seems to want their home park to install one of these new RMC doohickeys. To me, it just seems blasphemous to modify wooden roller coasters into these weird hybrids. I sincerely hope the whole thing is just a fad.

And don't get me started on how apparently the classification of these coasters is based not on the obvious fact that they're hybrids but instead on a certain chain's desire to have record breaking "wooden" coasters.

EDIT: Upon further research, there is in fact a difference between RMC's Topper Track and I-Box Track, which I thought were synonymous terms. That being said, I still think Topper Tracked coasters should be considered some degree of hybrids.

No, El Toro doesn't. El Toro has Intamin's prefabricated wood track.

umb. why does RMC have it on their website http://www.rockymtnconstruction.com/roller-coasters.php

  5. Tony Clark - Cedar Point's director of communications, tweeted today a stack of new wood planks. Is this a teaser for the demolition of mean streak and the introduction of a gci or even a rmc woody. I know that Cedar Fair has never worked with rmc, but Cedar Point has been the first for many things that are not normal like Millennium Force. That was Cedar Fair's first big coaster with Intamin.

EDIT: That was a bad link. Here is a working link pic.twitter.com/PQ8zCLWoRq

  6. A spiel versus a genuine interaction are two different things. I rode TTD ad the ride op was genuinely talking to guests and asked about first riders, etc. not only that but told the rules of the ride. At CP on the same day rode one of the steel coasters and the spiel and shtick got real old real fast.

Completely agree, you can always tell if someone is just doing something over and over again, and it can get annoying if they are doing the same thing over and over again. That video that purdude posted I would of probably complained to guest relations because he was being obnoxious, I haven't witnessed anything like that but it's also been a while since I've been able to ride the big coasters because my daughter is still 4. The ride operators in Planet Snoopy and Coney Mall seem to be either very friendly and nice to you or completely business like. I prefer friendly, but will take the business as well. But obnoxious and boisterous trying to be the main attraction, I will not, apply for "The Boys Are Back" if you want to be the entertainment.

he has a lot of themes, i have seen him do that one and "ARE YOU READY SPARTANS. PREPARE FOR GLORY" and some other stuff that was funny. This was about a year but it was hilarious. It was early ride time so i wasn't in line that long but i rode it 3 more times just to hear him lol

  7. I went to Cedar Point yesterday and there was a walk on everywhere. Early ride time had longer lines than at 1. I was confused on why the dragster line wasnt getting any bigger after my third ride in a row. I got 4 millenniums 3 dragsters 2 Gatekeepers and 1 of every other coaster except maverick due to mechanical problems. I left at 230 because of how tired i was from riding everything
