Ok, I gotta Say it. Actually it WAS "Six Flags Old Indiana". They bought the park after the accident and brought in a shload of rides. The news was on it and I went there once a month to check progress. Then the decision was made to scrap the idea and the land was sold to a private owner. And to think if it wasn't for the accidents that year (yep more than 1) They had banked enough for their first woody.

This is a simple bit of revenge, Paramount granted CF the right to keep using the name as a little bit of free plablicity. CF went and scraped it asap. So paramount is taking it's ball (Imagine the nickelodeon rights as a big pink ball) and going home. Since there is already a contract with the HB company, (the AT ride, and Scooby) they are more than willing to play. P.S. This is a guess based on past company actions. Way Old Skool KI'r

Ahh, Flight Commander. I remember the first day it re-opened after the accident. Me and my buddy road in EVERY single seat (as you could guess there was NO line) to make SHURE we rode in the same one she did. Ahh, the Twisted perversion of youth. And yes, it did re-open for a short time before it was removed. Out with Nickelodeon, Back in with HB. Vote, don't renew!!!! OLD SKOOL KI'er.

Flight of Fear, FearFest (But on the other hand CF really up'd the Theming this year, MORE BLOOD!!!!) The best thing Paramount did for KI was up the theming on a lot of it's new rides. TR:TR and IJST are two really cool rides that probably never would have seen the light any other way, and Don't forget FOF too, it may be 11 years old, but the launch from a space ship is still cool. (I love the Mini Mini's too) From the guy who would make shirts for next years rides, and wear them in October...(And Before the Internet this was hard work.) Marz

Simple.... I miss when Kings Island was themed with trees, grass, and landscaping, Not Concrete and Movie posters. I miss when it was ok to try something that had never been done before. and finally I miss being the Flag ship park... Speaking my mind since 1976...

I loved Flight Commander back in the day. After they reopened the ride me and one of my friends spent two hours on it riding in every seat (It was easy since NOONE rode the ride oater the accident) so we could say we rode in the death seat. Looking back on it it was kind of morbid but hay we were kids...
