One thing is for sure. That area doesn't look anything like that today. I never knew the bridge existed, so I am no help.

I've kinda been thinking about this one for a few days. And I just really can't think of many regrets when it comes to the park itself. Lots of i wishes? Yea. I wish I could have rode King Cobra more than I did (5 or 6). Wish I could've rode SOB. Really enjoyed KCKC. Love to take a couple more laps on it. Inevitably more changes will happen that will change my wish list one way or another. Time will tell. I can't complain about much though. Met some great folks, great times. Very much look forward to the future. The only real regret I have is not getting to take mom as I got older. When I was finally in a position in my life where I could have made that happen, it wasn't possible. She was the person who started the amusement park/coaster love I have. As much as she loved doin that for me 30+ years ago, it would have been nice to do it once for her. Nothing last forever.

I could really see WT being relocated. It itself seems to be a pretty reliable coaster except in the wind, which can play havoc up on the peninsula. On one of my trips a couple years back almost everything was shut down because of the wind. Add that with Decker saying he'd like to have a traditional wooden coaster on the beach, it not a big footprint, but it's a start. I could see it. JMO

How much did the price get up to for the Banshee auction I wonder. Great concept. To bad I'll be on my way south and east at that time to spend some time with the Kings sisters....

Finally just renewed my pass for the season. Happy days are here again. Now to bad I already have a trip planned for April 14 weekend.....

WWC is my better halfs favorite ride in the park. I can say that on more than one occasion she has rode it up until park closing.

There definitely are cliques here, but the people who typically attend "meet-ups" are glad to meet other park fans. At something like a construction tour or Coasterstock, you do need to introduce yourself if you'd like to meet people. In general, I don't think that people with unpopular opinions are made to feel unwelcome here. That said, many Internet forums tend to have a critical side, which I know is intimidating for some. Since you mentioned that Banshee construction tour, just something for anyone who ends up on a Mystic Timbers tour to remember: following the instructions/rules (eg. staying with the group, not touching things you aren't supposed to) is vitally important on a behind-the-scenes tour, lest the group not be invited on such things in the future. I can promise not everyone will agree with my views. And vise versa. I've had a really good time. Almost died a couple times. But enjoyed every minute.

So, does that mean the saga is over, for now?

Good grief. The whole thing sounds like a circus more than anything else.

Where in the world would they even get money for that? Things that make ya go hmmmm.
