I'd rather see all entertainment companies expand, improve, and focus upon what they already have, as opposed to worrying about expanding their portfolio of properties. Both Six Flags and Cedar Fair have a national footprint now, so it might benefit them to pay a bit more attention to each park individually. Landscaping, atmosphere, themeing, cleanliness, and limiting in-park advertising are all aspects that I believe to make a guest's experience just a bit more enjoyable. In my opinion, the stand-out company that pays really good attention to these little things is Herschend, but Six Flags and Cedar Fair both have potential. Instead of using money to buy new parks, utilize that money to give a little extra love to each park you already have.

I don't really know why, but the fact that there's no support directly under the crest of the lift hill perturbs me.

It would be an nice opportunity for Herschend to expand their theme park portfolio. I think they currently only run three theme parks. If they took away the ba beer, Busch Gardens would be losing the basis of its history. So I really don't see this happening, unless Herschend wants to drop "Family" from their company title.

From my experience at Silver Dollar City, Herschend knows details. The park was über clean and the whole frontier land theme was phenomenal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Also, I think Snoopy's Snack Shack will need some re-theming as the water theme won't really fit the new rides. (Sorry for the double post)

Did the Flying Eagles generally have the longest wait time on a daily basis out of all flat rides in Coney Mall?

Very, very true. Yet in the end we will all still have our own opinions. I liked Mean Streak when I rode it back in 2011. And after riding it 100+ times, I still love Diamondback for its airtime.

And if you go in the summer, throw in two water parks and that makes the trip really strenuous if you want to visit all 6 parks in a week-long vacation.

Yes, the Festhaus as well as Flight of Fear's hangar, which I never have service in.

All of these (minus Zodiac) were removed under Paramount. I suppose some classic rides had to be removed to make room for Hollywood.
