  1. What's left of that little area of the park anyway? (haven't checked it out in forever) Are you implying it was made into a designated smoking area? If so, consider my knee slapped.
  2. I'd take that system installed at Kings Island any day verses the Fast Lane system we have now.
  3. Yup. The carts are convenient, but they also conveniently only have bottled drinks, which will set you back 3 something dollars for a single bottle of water.
  4. not according to this post... http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php/topic/29667-heightened-security-61814/ or this one http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php/topic/29758-run-in-with-ki-security/ Maybe it just depends on the day
  5. Ehhh I prefer Gatorade but that leads me back to the whole Pepsi products thing. Won't ever be able to enjoy a Gatorade at Kings Island. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I think Six Flags has had way more safety mishaps than Cedar Fair. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I know one location for sure for Powerade is across from the exit of Dodgem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. This is incredible. I love what you've done. I've always been a fan of theming. On my trip to Silver Dollar City a couple weeks ago I noticed how the entire park was very frontier-ish. I love the fact that your trying to do the same with Kings Island. However being more realistic, I believe Cedar Fair to be an Amusement Park operator, not a Theme Park operator, that is, they have very light themes at all of their rides and attractions. So I doubt we'll see this, but it is still a great idea and I love fact that you care about atmosphere of the park and distinct area theming. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I'm sure there's some music unique to the show or company that produces the show.
  10. Friend, turkey clubs taste a lot better when paired with a bubbly Mountain Dew, I encourage you to try it sometime.
  11. I'm going Monday and I'll ask around and see which locations are informed about the new plan and which ones aren't.
  12. Sure! I can only list the songs that I liked enough to buy, because those are the only ones I remember. Assured Future - https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/assured-future/id480850952?i=480850957 Augmented Reality - https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/augmented-reality/id480850952?i=480850956 Seeing Stars - https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/seeing-stars/id480850952?i=480850961 Anastasia - https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/anastasia/id669289374?i=669289378 They used a lot of music from the same album called "Future Fidelity" by artists Peter Tong, Stuart Roslyn, and Paul Rogers. I'd have to say that I think my favorite is Seeing Stars which I believe is the song they use during bows.
  13. Makes me wonder why they're not trying to advertise these all-day drink offerings as much as they've advertised the new dining plans. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I just bought a ton of music from the show that I may or may not have Shazam'ed during the show.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I can't describe how overjoyed I'd be if KI switched to Pepsi. However, considering Cedar Fair's history with Coke, I doubt that would happen. And anyway, I think I'm in the minority when it comes to the Coke -vs- Pepsi war. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I'd much rather personalize a Mountain Dew. But alas, Cedar Fair recently renewed their contract with Coke, so I highly doubt we'd see Pepsi products inside the park anytime soon...
  17. I'd just like to point out a quote from the interview with Mr. Ouimet found here. "Canada’s Wonderland near Toronto opened an interactive indoor ride that is part roller coaster, part haunted house with a 500-foot long screen where riders battle dragons and other creatures. The characters on the screen can be changed to create a different experience during the park’s Halloween events. It’s the type of ride found at one of the Disney or Universal theme parks, and one that Ouimet likes because it embraces a new technology and could work easily at Cedar Fair’s other parks." This clearly indicates that Cedar Fair is working on getting it to at least some of their other parks. I definitely agree we need a good dark ride and to me this seems like the technology Cedar Fair would use if they were to install such a ride at Kings Island.
  18. I definitely agree with maintaining themes. In addition, I think Cedar Fair has done a great job making sure there are plenty of other ways to enjoy the park besides roller coasters. They've added more shows, maintained unique shops, and have plenty more activities (Dinosaurs Alive, arcades, pay-to-play games) to keep non-riders occupied and entertained.
  19. Flight of Fear = 10 minutes Firehawk = 10 minutes WindSeeker = 5 minutes Diamondback = 20 minutes I never thought I'd get on as much as I did this morning. I'm headed home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Banshee = 45 minutes Racer = walk on Adventure Express = 5 minutes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Maybe after 30 years (1984, when the ride was dismantled, to the present 2014) of "recovery" for guests, Kings Island figured why not make guests feel nostalgic and bring back "The Bat" name to the same coaster concept?
  22. Park is dead. The weather says it's suppose to be raining but it's not. Banshee, Delirium, and Bat are walk-on's Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
