  1. When does White Water Canyon close? After Labor Day? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. These weeks are always the weeks I ask myself if it is financially viable for the park to keep itself open. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I was confused when I first red this because different guests are different sizes. Does the lap bar just squish larger guests? Is there any video of the Millennium Flyer lap bars?
  4. Can anyone confirm or deny that Millennium Flyer trains have automatic-lowering lap bars?
  5. I believe what Greg said was that there's two "capital expenditures" in the makings for 2017. So something that costs money with significant change to the park hopefully.
  6. It's possible the train will just move very slowly through the shed and thematic elements and back into the station and that's how it can make the 90 degree turn smoothly. It doesn't have to be going fast. Or maybe there will be a stupidly banked turn going into the station. *Coughcough*Vortex*cough
  7. If you look at the shed video, there is no elevation change from where the train goes in and the train comes out, and there's even see-through support structures under the shed. This is why I don't think it'll be a drop, but I agree with MagentaLizard, it'll probably be something interactive having to do with the takeover of the roots and vines and such. Definitely expect screens. Animatronics? Probably not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I think I've conceded that the buildings used for Haunt mazes are never going away or being replaced. Action Theater? Urgent Scare Crypt? Madame Fatelle's SoB station for Pete sake? Wolf Pack If they can leave up a Haunt building year round rather than have to set it up every Halloween they're going to do it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Gerstlauer SkyRoller please Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Everywhere else has it too? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Can anyone confirm please if the Christmas music heard on IS is park-wide? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. It's not too far off from the August 8th Banshee announcement date. July 28th is only 11 days away from August 8th.
  13. When I got into the Diamondback line around 9:54pm, the line was back to the entrance with no additional switch backs open. Green train is back on. I'm gonna see if I can get on the last ride Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. FunPix? Fast Lane? FunPerks? All used KI as a test site.
  15. I was going to go to this one with a couple of my friends, before we decided the Cedar Point one would be more interesting, since we get to go there less. But then the storm came and it got cancelled... Plans were foiled.
  16. Exactly 30 minutes for Panda Express Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I went to the food trucks Friday and Saturday and here's what I got. Friday Lunch: Fried Green Tomato BLT and a cinnamon sugar soft pretzel from Vinnie's PretzelsAlthough I've never had a green tomato, let alone one that is fried, the sandwiches were heavenly, and was possibly my favorite dish that I had all weekend. The pretzel I had was ok, but it kinda tasted weird because I think it had some left over salt. Friday Dinner: Chicken Parmesan Sandwich from Bistro de MohrFelt like pre-packaged teriyaki chicken. And they literally just sprinkled regular grated Parmesan cheese that you'd normally put on spaghetti on it. Saturday Lunch: 2 Cheese Coneys from Chili Hutdogs and buns tasted like regular coneys that you'd get at Skyline, but the chili was heavenly. It was saucy like Skyline's, but it tasted way better and had more of a kick to it. Saturday Dinner: Pulled-pork sandwich and Red Raspberry Wacky Lemonade from Remi J's BBQLemonade was awesome and is served in these bucket-like cups. BBQ sandwich was okay but had some tough meat. Overall, I love love love the food truck festival and think it's such a unique idea for the park to pull off every year. I think it'd be better if they did it later in the season like last year (in July) to attract more customers and allow more business for the food trucks.
  18. I want to be immersed in the atmosphere, or "pre-show, if you will, before I board an attraction Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. And the trees! You can't just keep taking out trees and expect it to look like an old abandoned Ohio mining/milling river town.
  20. Ya, like they did with finishing the paving of the new toll booths right before season pass preview night, they seem to be doing this fencing and WWC entrance at the last minute as well. My main concern is those workers are in a lock-out area...was Diamondback running when they were in there? They had to be awfully careful.
  21. Oh Snap, Don! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Milling, Mining, Logging....industrial things I guess. Industrial outdoorsy things. I think the original concept was definitely trying to mirror that of Frontierland in Disneyland.
  23. This shirt looks awfully similar to the shirt of KoasterKids:
  24. Yes, and if you look closely on the exit ramp of The Beast, there is a fax "Beast Canyon Mining Company" logo above a minecart that seems to be going into a cave (mine).
  25. What? I attended ERT at 9:30am on May 21st and rode Woodstock Gliders and even asked the ride op if I had successfully snapped. She said I did and that yes, the ride was designed to be able to do that. You're tellin me that a chain wide decision was made at 4:00pm that afternoon and it must have been enforced immediately? Did someone get hurt or what?
