  1. If Maverick valleys like that with people on it, that's a lot of blood to the head. Probably causing much headache, for both riders and park staff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Ok ya I didn't think so. I was confused by this:
  3. Not sure if this has been mentioned, but it seems the lights inside the queue of Flight of Fear have been restored to be synchronized with the pre-show video. It's a really really cool experience I would recommend everyone see it before it breaks again and they don't fix it.
  4. The one at Kings Dominion was originally at Kings Island?
  5. Unreliability? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I love that app. I have notifications turned on for when rain in my area starts, and it seems to be super accurate.
  7. It didn't. Deleted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. My suggestion is that if you see someone smoking outside a designated smoking area, let a nearby associate know; in my experience they have no problem telling the guest to go to a smoking area. This will always be an issue, despite the millions of times that the "no smoking outside of designated areas" announcement is played each day Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Ya^. Agreed. If I was gonna spend this much, I might as well splurge and get the all out VIP tour for $450 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Some even live as far as the wondrous District of Colombia. I wish I could Interpret how long of a drive that might be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I think even if you get out your phone on such a slow-moving attraction that is Boo Blasters, the ride ops should still enforce over their intercom to put your phone away
  12. Knowing the park's behavior with these unadvertised bands, I definitely think they will be back this season.... Sporadically. Ya know, the usual. This thread exists to update KIC'ers ASAP so we can take advantage of the bands when some lucky soul does find them.
  13. You'd be surprised all the old signs that they still have in the sign shop. Granted, the last time I was in there was 2009. Hopefully another tour is on the plate for Coasterstock! I'd love to see it. I remember hearing from a member here that some of the Red Racer or Blue Racer signs are there but sadly there aren't enough for all of the trains. Signs when Paramount Parks owned Kings Island. The sign for Top Gun was hanging on the wall. The sign to King Cobra also. The sign to Son of Beast, this should tell you what part of 2009 I took the tour. Just to name a few. This tour alone was worth the price of admission to the event. Was like the entire Son of Beast box shown??
  14. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think this is the first time that KingsIslandPR put something on their story about a "key" view of Diamondback. Also, this video seems to clear things up about the wood chippers and bobcats. It looks like they're clearing stuff near WWC's station.
  15. That's a lovely map of....Kings Dominion.
  16. I appreciate the music, though I've never noticed it on-ride before. They should definitely keep that on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. To me it seems that smaller coasters (sometimes older, smaller coasters) may get overlooked in terms of their safety. Sometimes I'm a bit frightened for my younger cousins to get on Woodstock Express by themselves because they're only held in by a seat belt; as they could easily slip passed that make shift "lap bar" if their seat belt came unbuckled.
  19. "relentless airtime" Yet it's a shark...Relentless oceantime? We shall sea.
  20. I also have a question about B&M track. Does filling the track with sand like they did at Dorney actually decrease the roar of the track? If so, why did Dorney choose to reduce noise levels?
  21. When does White Water Canyon normally open? Had it always opened on Memorial Day weekend in the past? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Truthfully, I was just satirizing this whole conversation.
  23. The Disney College Program is an interesting concept. Basically what they're doing is securing themselves workers for 6 months, and creating fun events for them to go to in their off-time, so that at the end of their 6 months, they tell their friends how awesome the Program was, and they apply for it again. The College Program participants, generally get the least-favorable shifts, however.
