  1. My husband had bad experience yesterday, a 1130 they had no ribs and only dried out looking tri tip, also back to giving 1 hushpuppy. We wanted to do jukebox for dinner, walked in and it was filthy, condiment bar had no tomato or onion, group of workers in the back just standing around and then when we asked about tomato the worker looked and mumbled something we couldn't hear and acted like we were bothering him, we took that as a sign to go somewhere else. It's a shame because the company that was doing the cooking there til memorial day was really good.
  2. I have to agree about waiting in the queue. Because of my disability I use the ride pass system so I never see the general lines, I never knew about the TV's in line at MT showing the woods and I still don't know what is in line at Steel Vengeance at CP, I've been told there are plaques that describe how the bandits came to be and the fight w Maverick, I've looked for these pics everywhere and can't find them, it bums me out.
  3. We are definitely going to try this Sun, I'm desperate for Snoopy as we have a beagle and I love pigpen, we will have to see if they are doing him
  4. I think teens especially don't get the dangers, Tues on Beast there were people in back of me doing it and the ride op even made an announcement when we were on the lift hill, they didn't care, just laughed, it just angered me knowing what could happen.
  5. Can adults do this? I wanted to the other day but was hesitant if it was strictly a kids activity.
  6. It looked so good and something I'm hoping they have on Sunday, I really want to try it. I saw besides the granola, dried cranberries or cherries as well, either one I love.
  7. I saw the granola at coney yesterday, it looked good but I didn't ask the price.
  8. That restaurant really needs help, we've noticed the same thing with the manager not doing anything. The employees also don't know how to fold a burrito and if they are out of salsa they are too lazy to go in the back and replace it. Our last experience was horrible there, the meat was inedible, completely charred and the grill has not been cleaned. I did stop by guest services to let them know on memorial day but I've still not gotten a phone call.
  9. I got this pic on Wed May 17, this was right after gates opened to the general public. It was hilarious seeing people running to get to a line that wasn't even open yet, they did not open it past the railroad tracks until after 1030a, so all the running was for nothing. Both days we were there by late afternoon the wait was only an hour. I'm sure now that it's back on Fast Lane it will be a different story but I still think you just have to be smart about it.
  10. I live in Frankfort, Kentucky, about 120 miles. Intake back roads in Kentucky until I get to 71/75 north all the way, really wish I was closer.
  11. I'm so glad we don't have to worry about carrying items, we have our phones and keys and I packs my meds I need and that's it. The disposable drink system has been a lifesaver.
  12. About a month ago I was looking at some park videos on YouTube of CP, this one guy posts videos constantly and you can tell they are not park approved and done on his own, well he made a comment that his season pass had been suspended because of his taping, he said he was trying to work it out. Now I know this won't help for people that come and don't have passes but I really hope that they did take the pass away. After I saw that video with his comment I stopped watching anything that he had.
  13. I honestly think it depends on the day and who actually prepares your meal. We also have the season long dining plan and eat our meals at the park, we've had good and bad experiences at coney, good and bad at Reds, and yeah LaRosas I just dont care for. I used to loves Hank's but they have had some issues this year, the worst being they don't clean their grill so the chicken has an awful taste.
  14. I saw a guy with a tshirt a few weeks ago that said something to the effect of f**k off, i don't have kids but even I didn't like that this is a family park and that's just not appointment.
  15. I did stop by guest services when I was leaving and asked if someone could call me back that's in food services, I was very nice and just explained the situation, Im still waiting for a call but I'm sure they get a lot of requests so I'm no& surprised I've not heard anything yet.
  16. That's exactly what I was trying to tell a supervisor and they had no clue what I was talking about. He pulled someone else out from the kitchen that said romaine had been replaced because of the recall. I honestly thought that was a pretty poor excuse, if your menu says romaine than that's what you should get unless they otherwise notify you. We've had the same cashier there numerous times, she seems to not care about her job at all and I bet if I went back there today and ordered it I would still get iceberg and no notification that it's been changed. It bums me out as I'm trying to watch what I eat and that's one of the few places I can go besides LaRosas for a salad. Does anyone know if Skyline has salads? I know it's not on the dining plan but at this rate I'm ready to spend extra to get something decent.
  17. We also got platinum, I just wish we had the money to visit more than just KI and CP but I'm not going to complain since a lot of people can't do that and we've been very fortunate this year in how much we can visit.
  18. Monday was a bad day for dress code I felt lots of women walking around in less than a bathing suit, saw one in a flesh colored body suit with rips all in the front. Besides dress code I also saw a lot of people that must be very entitled.... I was waiting for my husband to pick me up at SC (there were no handicap spaces by the time we got there) here comes this young woman with a handicapped hanging from the mirror, she looked confused and then her and her passenger got out of the car blocking several cars parked and she took off in her platform wedges and left her flashers on.at the dry park I guess because there were no handicap spaces people were creating there own spaces and I was happy to see every car had a ticket on the window when we came out.
  19. I cannot agree more! I was hopeful as the beginning of the season we had excellent food but the last 2 weeks have sucked. I was so anxious for Smokehouse to reopen as that was our favorite last year. We went there Monday and we were pretty disappointed. I didn't get the pulled pork as it looked identical to coney bbq, which just my preference I don't care for, putting out sweet baby Ray's sauce is a real disservice. We got the chicken tenders which had no seasoning whatsoever, I had them 3 weeks ago at chicken shack and they were great. I also made the mistake of getting Mac and cheese, I'm sorry but if this is the new executive chef's recipe, it's horrible, bland with no taste at all. And don't even get me started on Hank's, but im still trying to be hopeful that things will get better.
  20. Yes there was but that was a while ago. I have no problem them substituting but you need to let people know. I have no desire to eat iceberg that has no nutritional value.
  21. Just curious if you noticed they were using iceberg lettuce instead of romaine? I know a lot of people could care less but our salads Friday were iceberg, my gripe is not letting people know before ordering.
  22. We had quite sub par food on Friday. It doesn't matter if one person has an awesome experience, the next might not, depending on who prepared the food. I complained about my salad and ended with blank stares from the supervisor who took it back and I instead had an ice cold cheeseburger with chips that were even colder. I'm not very impressed the last 2 weeks with food anywhere.
  23. It's not just swimwear either! I don't think there's a day I'm there and my mouth doesn't drop several times.
