Hmm well I wonder how big my shirts going to be now? Last year I asked for a large and it wore like a medium, so I didn't wear it - way to small. This year I asked for an extra large thinking we'd have the same style, now they changed it to cotton so it might be to big to wear lol. Oh well I don't go for the shirt, I go for all the other fun things!

Here's a blast from the past, I was looking for old pics and info of the Winnie Witch's Cauldron's tea cup ride, and didn't realize we had 2 at one time! Other one being the Cuddle Up.

Just thinking, remember when Greg said "new rides for 2017 and 18", at the 2016 announcement? I wonder if he meant we was getting more then 1 ride for both 2017 and 2018, or we would only get just 1 ride for both years? Something to think about!

That is just terrible! They was forced to ride with it not being safe at all!! Seems almost intentional if the ride was making noises, and the employees thought something bad was going to happen. Praying for all involved!

I wonder how the restaurants are doing? Has it gotten better since opening day? Hope so!

There is a few video's of Kings Island's Winterfest 2005 on Youtube if you wish to check it out. Never heard of the fountains being damaged by freezing the water during it though. I thought I've read here that the 2005 Winterfest was a hit, but Paramount only did it to show off what the park could do.

World of Fun has a teaser history photo wall up, showing some of the new stuff they've put in through the years. Its not just of roller coasters like Cedar Point had up, so that's the main difference between them. I haven't heard of any other Cedar Fair park teasing yet for next year, just KI and WoF.

Just signed up for this years Coasterstock event. The 1 pm Beast Tour was an opinion when I was picking, a little strange but oh well. I choose the 4 pm Beast Tour. This is going to be exciting! Remember anyone wanting to buy tickets, it ends May 8th at midnight!

Yes that is it. It might be one of those things you mentioned. I don't see them expanding X-Base or Action Zone out that far for now, for a new Skyride. I hope it does someday make a return though!

All the way to the right side of Banshee, a lot of that dirt looks like its been moved around over there. I don't think it was that way 24 hours ago. hmm

Anyone see the Banshee webcam? Looks like an imprint in the ground for a building or some kind of structure over by the old Son of Beast area. And more work being done over there.

With all of the talk about a bunch of people here riding the train and taking pictures + video on it, it feels like I've actually been ON it this year, but I haven't even been to the park yet!! I just found it kinda funny and thought others would get a kick out of it!

How about it being the longest Log Flume in the world with two drops? If its not a coaster or anything else.

Ok, does anyone know the last time Cedar Fair put in a new water type ride? Was it that water ride they just got done taking out of Cedar Point (forget its name)?

I didn't see the Facebook post about the Log Flume last night, I can imagine it would stir up a lot of upset emotions. People are not afraid to show their dislike for something online very much.

Hmmm maybe Worlds of Fun is getting the Mid-thrill ride for 2017 along with the 2 flat's Cedar Fair bought.

Ha that would be a HUGE flat ride if they needed to start a year in advance!

I saw they have a dog show being planned from one of the opening day video's on Kevin Welch's Youtube channel he posted.

What we do know is from their "Capital Investment Strategy" image, 2016 Is for CP and then we have 4 more years for big major thrill rides. And next year also is suppose to be a Mid-size thrill ride and a ride removal. I don't think any other park has started to tease for next year yet, so we are the first. Something to chew on.

Cedar Fair knows what they are doing, they just don't hand out big investments (roller coasters) like candy for nothing, it's for roi. Especially in this economy. If that's what we are getting. Hard to say right now.
