Details on Winter Chill Out Tickets have just been announced:
https://www.cedarpoint.com/blog/2021-winter-chill-out
I would like if they'd go back to their old ticket system, but I hope I get picked this year! A bummer not go last year. Always a fantastic event.

Did anyone complaining apply for the open position when it was posted?
You can't have criticism, and if you do you can't talk because you didn't apply for the job? I'll make sure to apply next time and let you know. Didn't have the credentials to do it when the job was opened. I'll also make sure to apply for the GM job as well so I can complain that the trash can locations are not to my liking.
Is be suprised if Coasterstock next year happens, and to what others have said....
Are there no other operating days?

They just simply didn't want to have it. That "excuse" shows it in my opinion. Pretty much knew they were skipping it since last summer.

To be fair, 6:10 AM is early for a Sunday morning
You can have tweets scheduled.

I think the Winterfest's length is just right. I'd actually enjoy an earlier Opening Day. Especially with the weather.

Telling you right now that name is terrible! "Hey guys let's go ride Top Thrill Two!" isn't happening I'll still refer to the ride as "The Dragster" like I always have.
I bet they kept it close to the original name because majority of the general public would of called it Top Thrill Dragster anyway. The majority of the people who don't like the name seem to be enthusiasts.
The logo looks fantastic in my opinion. Also, people will refer to it as "Top Thrill" not with the "2".

Can we just admit KI's communications isn't that great, and call it there. I see more ads for Holiday World than KI.

First off he’s able to conduct media events, provide tours of new areas or events to media, and etc. Just a few weeks ago during the opening of Sol Spin, he was providing tours to local radio hosts.
Second he’s knowledgeable about the park, which is critical for success in a role.
I have seen Chad frequently at the park. I think he does an exceptional job at his role .
So the bare minimum? Please look up what a communications worker does.
Edit: Anyone find the timing of this a bit fishy?

What a big loss for the park. If this was decision from the park, what a mistake that is.
I don't have a particular story to share right now, but seeing him around the park was always great. Not a good day for the park.

This. I can't see this happening for a while now with him gone. Again, this is a loss for the park.

Going with the 24 capacity was the best idea in my opinion. After this season, I don't think lines will be as packed (besides busy days, but that's the case with almost every ride).
Getting the smaller model just makes sense to me.

Looks Chick-fil-A is going from a hundred people per hour at Kings Island to fifty people per game at GABP:

People were getting sold out messages within 5 minutes from what I am hearing. Now that could mean others had a ticket held in their cart that had not completed the transaction yet.
Thanks. Great to see the events like WCO and Coasterstock have continued success.

Just a heads up. Never seen this tweeted before an event before. Good luck with that:

He saw people painting. Just a crazy guess.

Took me a 5 seconds too long to get this. Not proud.

Hopefully they go with another way of signing up next year besides the lottery system. I would say go back to the old system but I know a lot of people had issues with that, too.
The two day event was a great idea, I wonder if it increased capacity or just spread it out.
Edit: Seeing people having tickets for both days and several posts about people selling extras. With a lottery system this was bound to happen.

I thought this year's Haunt was much better than the last time I went, which was in 2019. More scare actors by a good amount. Hopefully they go another step next year.

I just left the park because it was so busy at haunt. I end up driving through the parking lot to the Soak City exit light and they were parking cars all the way in front of tropical Plunge. People were lined up still at the toll plaza just to get in.
Thanks for the info. I saw Cedar Point was at capacity so figured Kings Island would be doing well, too.

Orion full queue, FOF full queue, autos full queue.
It's busy.
I'm assuming it's still fairly busy? Was thinking about going up late.
