  1. I approve. Sherlock and Doctor Who are excellent shows, this was bound to happen at some point.
  2. I have no idea how many times I rode Diamondback. All I know is I marathoned it one day until I felt sick (at least 25 times) and did the same thing another day. In all honesty I probably have ridden it a good 60-70 times this year. Although Banshee and The Beast were a close second.
  3. This would be pretty neat to see being done again, I must admit. It seems like a lot of fun.
  4. It was really neat seeing the aerial views of the park from the Eiffel Tower. It's crazy how much the park has changed in even just 35 years. Really cool to be able to see this stuff in action and to see how it evolved over time. One must hope that Kings Island pays more attention to their burnt out light bulbs in the future, as Dwight mentioned, haha. Maybe someday they will. *looks longingly at the sky*
  5. Other than counting down the days, I'd have to say my off-season thrills would mostly consist of strumming away at my guitar and doing some drawing every once and a while. I do enjoy me a relaxing trip to the Cincinnati Art Museum here and there, though.
  6. I had edited it to make sense in that way. It wasn't originally like that. Haha. Grammar fixed. Thanks Thoe
  7. A great family dark ride really brings a park together. Some might add that it's what makes Disneyland "magical". Being able to ride a great ride with the whole family is quite a unique experience. One that really makes a day at the amusement park memorable for everyone. Something the whole family can talk about and relate to on the car ride home!
  8. A little bit more love given to the Flight of Fear we know today, would make me happy. The flatscreens inside were a nice touch, but I feel as though the ride wasn't as smooth this year. A little tweaking and a bit of updating could go a long way. It makes me happy walking into the queue when everything is in order, (lights, everything on, sound up, ect.) really gives the ride that spooky electronic feel. Even a slight detail can throw a mood off. Now that the Crypt is gone, seeing the most heavily themed attraction get some tune-ups would be quite a cool experience.
  9. I feel like these new rides will give that area a more lively feel for sure. That area always seemed like the more barren side of Planet Snoopy. The attention Kings Island pays to the kids area is fantastic. It's something a lot of other parks take for granted. You always want to make the children happy, a memorable experience as a kid is going to make you want to come back when you're older!
  10. Diamondback and Banshee are at a tie for me. They both offer different atmospheres that give the rider a sense of the "story" behind that rollercoaster. The names give you a slight hint at what the ride is going to feel like before even sitting down. Diamondback offers a one of a kind gliding experience over the slopes that Banshee just doesn't. However, Banshee gives you a feeling of chaos instead of that graceful Diamondback feel. Both are simply amazing rollercoasters in their own way.
  11. I would love to see a dark ride of any kind pop up in Oktoberfest and or Rivertown. Dark rides are some of my personal favorites.
  12. 2014 might have been one of, if not the best seasons that I have experienced at Kings Island. I remember opening day and that gigantic crowd for Banshee. Completely worth the wait. It seems as I wasn't the only one who thought so! As I looked among the crowd, everyone seemed to have a smile on their face. Even after opening day, the park got a lot of buzz! I remember my Grandparents who live far away asking me "Have you been on the Banshee? I heard about it on TV." Haunt was fantastic and FunTV in the queues was a nice touch.
