  1. She stole a lot more money than that. When I was in Food Service Loss Prevention (2005) she claimed money was missing from money bags that I personally counted before turning into money room.
  2. I picked Intamin for the sheer fact that I want and awesome launched coaster in my local area. I don't care about the top hat or being the tallest-fastest or whatever. I just want to see a rocket coaster that has tons of air time hills, overbanked turns and lots of thrills. Intamin barely beat out B&M in my book for this wish. Otherwise I would have picked B&M cause I could watch the track and supports from start to finished product as they are built and painted in Batavia then relocated and installed at my local park all with one days trip.
  3. Its a good park cause the rides are all pretty cool. Granted I haven't riden Kingda Ka yet, but that place is so run down. The up keep is horrible. The staff mediocre. The current layout of the park (ie the way traffic flows) as compared to back in 1995 when I had a season pass (cause I lived in Philly - sup) is horrible. Finally the crowds that are drawn to the place are just not people you really want to meet or ever hang out with. I'll probably be out to SFGAdv next year so I can ride these two rides, the woodie and Kingda Ka, but only so I can ride all of their rides again. Other wise I wouldn't bother traveling that far for to visit that park ever again.
  4. Said thing about just giving everything a new paint job and only adding a few new rides... There are guests that swear they have been coming there for years and the stuff we repainted and renamed, is either brand new or we made it bigger. i.e. Tons of people last year asked if the wavepool was made bigger because it was painted blue. We told them only the color changed, and they would insist we were lying.
  5. What happened to the Enchanted Theater show behind the Scooby Meet and Greet?
  6. Probably still waiting for everyone to take what they want out of the office building and such. I know my food stand has come and picked up a few freezers and stuff from there to use. Shouldn't be long before stuff is visible.
  7. Nice picture, that sure looks familiar. Glad to see people are still using my pics from PKI Unlimited.
  8. With the layout and many head choppers and twists and turns, it appears it will not be too "family-ish". While even though its not the fastest, watching it run almost every night after the construction workers leave, I think it'll entertain many just fine.
  9. Yes, Graeters is open and running, its the starbuck and mexican place that are not open as of yet.
  10. They had some of the special effects running last Friday the 25th around 8pm. I was training a class in PKIU and when i got out I could hear the police car sirens running I didn't go check it out cause I had to leave but I never heard any explosions or anything else.
  11. Everyone knows that Outback Shack has the best food service employees. Heck we have the best retention rate of any stand in the park. Why? Cause the atmosphere is wonderful, they get to eat the food everyday for break, and in turn it creates a better associate who takes pride in their work. Sorry Dennis and Stephen, you can't argue that.
  12. I'm upset that Dundee's Outback Shack was not included on the list of restaurants. It has the best burgers in the park, hands down. (Its all in the grill and cooking they use )
  13. I've seen the concept art-work for this renivation and if everything in there is done.. it will look really cool. Though don't expect a 100% change in the menu from there.
  14. Mostly likely they would be able to keep everything Paramount. I figured something like this was up their sleeves since there was never a definite "Yes, we are for sale" kinda announcement. This way they can let stuff like MTV flourish and become even more of a non-music playing tv station and they can create 30 more MTV's that none of which will play music videos either.
  15. 1. TheKlockster 2. CoastersRZ 3. Alien Seed 4. CombatStupendous89 5. flying eagles 6.Scooby_Doo 7. DeliriumDreamer 8. PkiJake(Maybe) 9. Fo-Shame I'll be there working anyways, might as well stick around.
  16. Gold Pass/SP/Radio/whatever... is supposed to be April 1st and 2nd.
  17. Well, they are from Premier so they will probably have the same restraints as the FOF and SOB trains have... a lap bar with and possibly a seatbelt buckled to it, sorry for those with big legs that can't fit in either of those rides very well.
  18. But it'll be even more fun because the back-end of each car "fish-tales" out around the turns...
  19. Ok, with names and all.... Standing in front of the fountain looking at the IR, and going from left to right... You first see the "Caprice Room" which was the VIP/Big Whigs lounge with couches, tv, private bathroom, and a miniature bar. Then the main dinning room with a split level seating area as to allow the people farthest from the window to still have a view, similar to stadium style seating. Then comes the bar/lounge, which had all alcohol removed when the IR closed its doors... well removed from the bar but not the building Lastly, you can see the "Carousel Room" which was a dinning room/party room. It is decorated with carousel horses on the walls giving it its name. This room is the farthest to the right that you can see from International Street. This room also has a bar. Then starting from behind the Carousel room and going back left... You of course have the Board Room, which you can see the windows of when standing over by Paramount Theatre, this is the same Board Room used in the Brady Bunch episode at Kings Island. The same funky art work is still on the wall in that room, and pretty sure the chairs are still the same, as how they are funky and orange. Then moving left you have a hallway with storage rooms, two offices and some bathrooms, and eventually you get to the kitchen which runs the length of the main dining room and goes to the end of the building.
  20. Me and my friend have searched multiple file sharing places to see if anyone had it, but we had no luck. Pretty sure it was created just for the parade.
  21. Overtime??? We are seasonal people, there is no such thing as overtime for seasonal associates in the state of Ohio. The amount of hours per week is usually set so that people aren't there ALL THE TIME and they can have a life or not over work themselves. I like Black Raspberry Chip.
  22. The revamp of the waterpark helped the food service department at KI rake in alot of that extra dough.
  23. Well seeing how they are opening a big new ride this year and all I wouldn't make sense to promote the next thing until that one already has opened and had some time to set in. I'd say if they do it, look for early July, cause what would be better than a Christmas in July announcement for an event that happens around "Christmas time" (Yes, I know its "Winter" related, not just Christmas.)
  24. I'm going with the 21st as a Birthday present for me.
  25. So thats why they got the new trams last year. Is it going to be like the Universal Studios tour with exploding things and rushing water.
