  1. I'm guessing either MagentaLizard could be right about the antique cars maybe returning, or they'll add a flat. Since Mystic Timbers will likely be a less expensive coaster addition than in recent years, I bet a flat isn't out of the realm of possibility. I'll be thrilled if the flat is inside the Crypt building. But either way it's exciting to see Rivertown getting some TLC!
  2. Ok, so is the shed an entirely new stucture? I thought it was using the Crypt box? Now I'm thinking I just got confused. -holds out hope for a Screamin Swing inside the Crypt box- Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Same here. ALMOST missed it! Thankfully their stream was much better.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Whats a drop track? I've seen that suggested on Twitter a few times for the shed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I'm excited! I can't wait to find out what's in the box! The pov looks nice, I feel like I'll be able to ride this without hurting my neck. And the airtime looks like fun! I hope they go all-out with the theming. It's really cool that they're leaving some mystery to it, kind of like when Tomb Raider first opened. I'm excited to see the box get new life! 8. Can you imagine how fun it would be setting up/being involved with this announcement? What a dream job! I wish I could be there, looks like they're going all out!
  9. GCI isn't COMPLETELY without issues. Gwazi is SBNO. I still think it could be either one.
  10. They can always take down the old dorms. Shoot the Rapids is leaving. Challenge Park will probably be gone eventually. That's a lot of space to work with. Removing stuff isn't so bad. (As long as it's not Gemini. )
  11. I love this name for a future Giga in a different area of the park. Doesn't really fit in Rivertown but it's really cool! #TeamSplintercat
  12. It's selfish of me, but I hope it doesn't. Season passholders can ride things anytime they please. They can go on a random weeknight and ride something whenever they want. Out of state visitors who can only visit for a day wouldn't get to do much if the Fast Lane lines were even longer than they already are. I'm fine with paying a ton extra to make sure I can actually get in a few rides by the end of the day. I save up and forego other things cause it's worth it to me. But if the majority of guests have Fast Lane passes, that'd kinda ruin things. The Fast Lane lines would be longer than the regular lines. At Cedar Point in particular, it would get completely out of hand. I suspect this works better at Dorney because it's a smaller park. Maybe a large percentage of their guests are season passholders.
  13. I want to ride all of the Wing Coasters in the U.S. Gatekeeper was just SO much fun and I've heard some of the others out there are even better.
  14. I take it "Weatherbird" would not be a suitable alternative.
  15. This happened to me on Friday a bunch of times. I can't for the life of me remember my password. Luckily it randomly logged me back in.
  16. And even if they did I think the hole would turn out round anyway.
  17. I honestly have to say I like Splintercat. The axe thing is exciting! Maybe there will be more clues soon!
  18. ^ I've heard that on Undercover Boss before. Makes it sound like someone dropped their protein shake.
  19. Do you guys think whether a ride is indoor or outdoor has any effect on the lines?
  20. ^ I remember a 2 hour wait for Tomb Raider: The Ride in 2004 as well. It was the longest wait I remember at Kings Island. (But so worth it!)
  21. I'm only 26 and I'm already starting to feel limited on what I can ride. At Cedar Point, Maverick, Rougarou, and Mean Streak are unrideable for me. Gemini, Blue Streak, and Gatekeeper I can marathon. Magnum is iffy. I felt ejected from my seat and slammed back down on some of the smaller hills and that can be rough on me. At Kings Island, one ride on Beast was enough for me (though I've heard it's gotten smoother since I last rode it), I've had good and bad rides on Vortex (didn't know until I joined this site that some seats are better than others). Diamondback I could ride over and over, as well as Racer. I don't really get motion sickness, that's very rare cause I eat small bland meals on park trips and take ginger pills. But I do get headaches. My major problem is my neck- it really can't handle much. I can't ride Scramblers anymore because of it- they were once my favorite ride. Waldameer's Ravine Flyer II is also unrideable for me at this point, which is a shame because it's such a cool coaster.
  22. The gators may be able to climb the fences, but the fences will keep people out of the water, so that's good. The new signage looks great too, I like that they added the snake warning. A lot of people wrongly assume they'll see something as big as an alligator if there's one nearby, but a snake can go unnoticed. It's good to see they're getting around to fixing the problems so quickly. I do wonder what their plan for the tubers and skiiers will be. Are they at risk?
  23. I like what Waldameer does- the pre-recorded, themed spiels for each ride. I think it's really well done. You've got the pirate voice on Sea Dragon, the iconic Whacky Shack spiel, etc. Perfect blend of rider instructions with a bit of humor here and there, and it gets me even more excited for the ride. For some people maybe it gets a bit annoying to hear the same thing over and over, but not me.
  24. ^^ Well, they could not set up beach chairs and sand at an area that they know is home to alligators. Maybe save that for around the pools. I don't really blame Disney but I do hope they make some big changes to prevent this in the future. Alligator warning signs for one, and maybe closing off that beach for another. I always thought "no swimming" signs also meant no wading in the water, but I still don't blame the parents. The more I think about it, I feel like this could have happened even if he was on land just NEAR the beach not breaking any rules. It's just a horrible accident and I feel nothing but sympathy for them. I hope they have their privacy to grieve.
  25. The KI Expo website is blocked on my work computer, which is REALLY strange. Very, very few things are blocked on my work computer. I was able to see the pic on facebook, but still... A little fishy. I can't believe anything 100 percent until the park announces. I do wish there were more teasers though.
