  1. APA, which is the standard I am held to, still double spaces after periods. Plus, tradition.
  2. Not everyone is perfect. But if you want to improve how people perceive you, there are tool available. I don't want to jeopardize breaking TOS, if anyone would like the name of the service I use, PM me. I have to write lots of papers, so it's a lifesaver.
  3. As an RN, take this for what you will: Invertigo is a play on the word vertigo, which is dizziness. Oscillopsia is a condition where you vision can appear shaky and blurry. Syncope is dizziness, which can often lead to falls. A negative Romberg test will result in falling. MRI is performed in a confined space, and can cause dizziness. Posturography is also a test used to measure balance. All of these are tied into the brain, which is pictured on the poster. I can't see much on the Firehawk poster, but I see either EKG or EEG rhythm strips. One is cardiac, the other is brain. I can't determine the tests, because the image is too blurry.
  4. To me the K and the I look like B/M supports. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

  6. But we don't have any Intamin coasters at KI? [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787] Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  7. Not in all cases. If you have a park that admits 100 guests and the price is 500/ticket, they will gross $50,000. If another park admits 200 guests and the price is 200/ticket, they will gross $40,000.00. The 2nd park has increased spending for the extra 100 guests. (Not a perfect example, but it works.) And for BGW, I thought it had lower attendance than KI? In your scenario, if KI has higher attendance, it should follow that the restrooms are cleaner. If they add more restrooms, wouldn't that stretch the already sketchy resources they devote the current 9? (Please note, I do not think KI has sketchy care for the restrooms. As has been discussed ad nauseum here, patrons could do much to solve the problem and the park can do some short and long term things.)
  8. Why would The Beast return? It's never left. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  9. I hope I didn't come across as being a male genital! I hope my suggestions for park improvement were not interpreted that way. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  10. I know I have made some posts in this thread, but I am not expecting Disney level service at Kings Island. But I do get an excellent value for my money. I do think some relatively minor enhancements can help the restroom situation. I cannot speak for the women's restrooms, of course, but in general, the men's rooms are pretty bad. I do know at Kentucky Kingdom, with proportionally less guests than KI, the restrooms are ice cold, which circulates the air and reduces the stench down to normal public restroom levels. Of course, if the public would use proper restroom etiquette, then the problem at KI would lessen too. But it's hard enough for some guys to even follow proper urinal protocol, so I remain jaded. http://urinalman.com/
  11. Under my proposal, you would...sort of. All that Intamin crap steel melted into a glorious B&M[emoji2398]. [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787] Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  12. You know, it has almost been an anthem around here that "just because they've done it one way in the past doesn't mean they're going to do it this time or in the future." So maybe, just maybe... That's what they're doing this time. Maybe we've had teasers in plain sight this season and last season. Maybe the barrels in tower gardens last year actually meant something. Maybe all the barrels that were put out for Grand Carnivale that contain flowers mean something. Or maybe not. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  13. What CP is going to do:. Leave Steel Vengeance. Take down TTD, Maverick, and MF, melt the steel down and send it to be reused to CSF. They'll build Magnum XXXL 325[emoji2398] by B&M. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  14. ^But what if he has uromycotosis? As Jerry Seinfeld says, when you gotta go you gotta go....
  15. How about Millenium Force replacing AE, going back towards the area formerly known as Coney Mall and interaction with Project X?
  16. What if they relocated El Toro to AEs spot? Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  17. During the college years, I spent a summer in Hampton Beach, NH. I worked at McDonald's doing am maintenance. The restrooms were outside, so at 0400, after having coffee, I cleaned them. The women's room was disgusting. So was the men's but I could stand back and hose it down. Lol. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  18. While I see the logic of this, I also see that the facilities are hidden from sight from an open door. Also, they really should install more dividers between the urinals.
  19. I can be detail-oriented. As an RN, when I can't leave a restroom with clean hands, I am grossed out.
  20. They were the gliders that came from Coney island. Got sent to Carowinds. Originally installed in the area formerly known as Coney Mall, they were moved at some point the where the basketball challenge is near the junkyard coaster entry plaza. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  21. I think this relates back to the poor decisions Paramount made. Before the junkyard coaster was installed, this was a most beautiful part of the park. Antique cars, excellent landscape, and our flying eagles. All that is gone and we have a decent coaster with an ugly theme, put in a wrong section of the park. I don't hope for a removal, but I'd love to see it reimagined with less rip-rap, shipping containers, junked cars etc. Up the landscaping, soften it up and maybe redo the theme to a sinister prescense that The Beast and Mystic Timbers has... continue those story lines. You launch out of the station to escape the wrath of ....and run run run until you stop to catch your breath, but the....chases you thru a dark tunnel...I just think many of the nostalgia folks are salty even though they enjoy the junkyard coaster. 22. While I am not a janitorial supply specialist, I think many of the problems with the men's rooms could be fixed easily. First, if the customers would use the garbage cans, flush, and aim better. The customers could solve many of the problems. However, the park could take some short and long term solutions to fix the problems. In the short term, they could leave the doors open like in years past. It would allow some air circulation and also make it more sanitary. I dread having to touch a door handle after washing my hands. They could also use different urinal mats. I've noticed at Pilot truck stops (where I stop to gas up on the way to KI), they have started using a mat that is thicker with multiple fingers. This traps the urine and prevents splash. Longer term, the park should really look at putting electric eyes that will flush the urinals and toilets. This would solve the problem of non flushers, and for myself, the gross factor of touching a flusher that someone else has touched, and the thing they touched right before that cannot be mentioned in this forum. They also need to look at refitting the restrooms with climate control. Evidently they install temporary heat for Winterfest, it appears there are HVAC vents in the buildings. Bite the bullet, heat in the winter, cold air in the summer. I really do feel bad for the attendants in this hot weather. If I see one, I try to thank him. I am sure it is a thankless job.
  23. But you said: " Nobody here says they hate Intamins. We are tired of you bringing them into every conversation. It's not that hard to comprehend. " Please don't assume you speak for everyone in this thread, this stage of the thread, or KIC as a whole. It's also false that he brings Intamin into every conversation. You may perceive that as being true, because he apparently triggered you, but it simply isn't the case. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  24. I'd love to see a return of "The Shooting Star" name in the Cincinatti area. I never got to ride the original. If it is going to be a blue and white coaster, I'd also love to see homage to The Wildcat, which could tie into nostalgia and the sinister nature of Banshee, The Beast and Mystic Timbers, as well as the awesome #BBN!
  25. I'm not tired of it. He loves Intamin coasters. I love Kings Island. I talk about it amongst friends. They don't tire of it and ask me questions frequently. Live and let live. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
