  1. I must lack common sense because I thought it was for this coming winter. That being said, I was renewing our passes anyways, so it's not going to change anything. I do wish it was this year because I'm very excited. I never experienced Winterfest, so I'll be impatiently waiting until winter 2017. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. This has been something that has really bothered me this season as well. We usually go after work so we get there at 4:30 and immediately use our dining plan. When we try to get our second meal for the trip home, almost every single place is already closed. Sometimes we get lucky and they have meals sitting on top of the warmers while they're breaking stuff down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I just watched a video of Verbolten after seeing it mentioned a few times already, if it has a drop like that, that'll be amazing. I, for one, am excited about this. I agree that it's a nice mid-upper level ride. Wonder what the height requirement will be? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Has anyone had difficulty getting their front gate photos to load? Mine worked twice but not the third time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Anybody at the park today? Headed that way now to celebrate my birthday and daughters graduation. Hoping for short lines! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I got to take two good friends on their first Beast night ride right after the fireworks. Front row, and one of my smoothest rides. We then rode The Bat at ERT but skipped Banshee because it was down when we went to get in line. Short but great trip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks for the update, yikes! We may stop around 9:00, use our free meal and ride a coaster or two. Not sure about staying for ERT. If it was for The Beast we definitely would but Banshee gives me a headache.
  8. After stopping at Kenwood Town Centre, thinking about stopping by for awhile around 8:30. How are the crowds so far this evening? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Totally agree. Other than that, separate days for two very large events in a new coaster opening.
  10. I don't think so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. The reviews about this issue are heated on CP's facebook. I don't really know what they can do to rectify the issue but an apology is definitely in order. The early gate opening really doesn't seem to be the issue so much as letting the OSU event go on past 7. I see why Valravn would be a problem because that lines was probably hours long for the whole event and you aren't really Going to be able to kick those folks out at 7PM. Setting up two events on the same day like that was a terrible idea, I'd venture to say they've learned their lesson. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. When we went for the second time yesterday, the husband almost pulled in on the wrong side of the cones. The sight line is very poor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Banshee dispatching trains with three people on it, walked right on. I want to give a kudos to Emily working Diamondback tonight. Very friendly, waving at the riders as they left, just overall an enthusiastic employee who helps make a KIBestDay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. For all of the wrap lovers, I just got the most monstrous chicken wrap from Chicken Shack on the dining plan. Either the staff didn't know it wasn't included or they've changed the options on the dining plan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Diamondback is lined up back to the first fun TV, about 15 minutes. Otherwise it looks like 5-10 minute waits. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Almost to the park now. Hoping the storm ran some people off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. King Cobra, Phantom Theater, Days of Thunder, TR:TR. I enjoyed all of those greatly in childhood and really wish I could share them with my girls. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. There is, but surprisingly not very large.
  19. This was our first FunPix photo loaded. We were in the second row... Luckily, the photo stand at the front was great and got it taken care of. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. They did have it but I didn't try it. Might have to try it next trip because it really looked good.
  21. Admittedly I didn't pay much attention to the fountain lights last year but they seemed different tonight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. A few things I took note of during preview night. #1 - Customer Service was wonderful. I had a minor issue with my FunPix pass and it was handled without issues. #2 - There are a few new props in Boo Blasters on Boo Hill, a couple of which are really nice and large. Despite these improvements, the guns and targets were not functioning well and the air conditioning was off which made it very uncomfortable. #3 - The parking row signs have indeed changed. We usually park in Delirium and tonight it was The Racer. #4 - Food service was decent. The lines weren't bad except for the few places offering the $1 deals which was to be expected. We sucked it up and enjoyed Banshee ice cream, pretzels, and chocolate dipped Oreos from The Sweet Spot. We avoid dollar days because of the crowd so getting this perk flyer when we walked in was a nice added bonus on the night. #5 - The new WWC entrance seems really odd and out of place. It's going to take some getting used to. #6 - New Snoopy License station set up in Planet Snoopy. You can get your kids' picture taken and made into a drivers license looking card with their height printed on it. It's cute, but seems impractical for kids to carry this around to show for rides. They took the regular height check station out of Planet Snoopy. The line moved VERY slow for this tonight. #7 - FunPix is the best thing since sliced bread. A little difficult to hit the sweet spot (no pun intended) with the barcode but overall a really good value. Bummed that the camera on The Beast malfunctioned on our front row night ride. #8 - Unlimited refill cups were everywhere. I foresee these being incredibly popular. They are neon orange, vastly different than the neon green cups for $1.00 refills. This should hopefully keep these freestyle stands moving more quickly. #9 - New lighting package on The Scrambler is amazing. Really stands out. #10 - Watch for falling trees... Ride ops on The Beast were teasing about it. Overall, really great preview night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. The fresh paint on the fountain looks great! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
