I've never been to opening day before so I'm not really sure what to expect crowd-wise. I know people say it is "busy" if the weather is good but is it like Saturday in July busy (waiting 2+hours for big rides)? We are going Friday but still undecided on Saturday. Most belts have these metal things called buckles. I have never gone through security in any high security area without being asked to remove my belt (and dress shoes). And I'm probably in those areas far more often than most. Exactly what I was thinking. I can't imagine them NOT asking you to take your belt off, otherwise it kind of defeats the detector part.

The info for my pass in the KI app is saying I don't have a dining plan either. Fortunately the receipt in the payment portal and the details for my initial PayPal payment both show that I purchased dining, so I have proof if need be.Mine says 2016 pass + dining and I haven't yet purchased a dining plan for 2016.

We just put ours on my sons card. If we all go, we are set. If its just him and I, or him and momma, we should still be ok.At least, that is our thinking. I guess time will tell Just guessing here, but if you're standing at the photo booth with your card and point out which car you need on your account, I honestly doubt they'll question it. Heck, more often than not last year, my husband used my dining plan pass to get food. They never once questioned it. Since I have one child that's almost exclusively Planet Snoopy, and the other that is over 54", I pretty much had to attach it to my pass.

I know it may sound weird but Shake Rattle and Roll is one of my absolute favorite things about the park at night. It's just so fun to see the bright swirling lights!

As others have said, you can do it in the payment portal. For some reason I always have trouble navigating KI's season pass portal stuff, so I was thankful for the email I got when my mom forgot to update her card information. I clicked on the link and it was super easy. It did change the payment date for each month though, so be aware of that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is our first time renewing our gold passes. I renewed online on Oct. 23rd. Do we have to go through the processing center or is it automatic for renewals? I'm thinking its automatic because my pass portal on the app says 2016 but just wanted to be sure (it erroneously says 2016 + dining so I know it's not 100% accurate). I'm more than willing to get one picture taken. It does get annoying though when they want 4-5 different poses/combinations. It's a bit much for my liking. I don't think the issue is with the actual games, it's with the people who don't know how to act respectful with their prizes. Granted, the bouncing is annoying to my ears but that's just a personal pet peeve of mine, not anything I'd be making a real fuss over. However, as mentioned by another poster, I've seen balls hit people, knock food out of hands, etc. I'm not trying to suck the fun out of anyone's experience, it's just that their right to fun ends when it violates the rights of others. I think in my case, (my big fuss budget is body odor), I let myself get angry and peeved over something that, though it would be nice if they used some super strength deodorant, or in one case of standing in line of FOF, perhaps decided against that onion bloom the night before, it's just not in their personal upbringing to do.I love the Ephemora A/V Geek section of archive.org. Just like everyone else, And laugh the same as everyone else at the 1950's personal hygiene films. But part of me wishes those instruction films were still in circulation. I'm used to poor hygiene as I work in a prison, but man did I feel like I got stuck behind every stinky person at the park last season. Ironically, I show a hygiene film from the 80's in my classes. At risk of sounding like a grumpy old woman, (I'm only 31, btw) those basketballs drive me nuts as well. Actually, I shouldn't blame the basketball games, I should blame the people who don't know how to be respectful with them in their possession. The bouncing drives me nuts in the Coney area (seems to be more prominent there). I love the idea of an inflation station at the front.
