I work 7-3 but live 1.5 hours away. During 10pm closing time, we head over there sometimes for a 4-5 hour trip. We don't do Saturday's during summer peak but have found that most Sundays have minimal crowds, no matter what time of the season. Admittedly, I can take off pretty much whenever I want so we do a lot of Tuesday/Wednesday trips at the very beginning of the summer to maximize our time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I rode Firehawk for the first time this year. The first ride I was pretty indifferent about it, didn't really find it that enjoyable and a bit uncomfortable. It wasn't as thrilling as I expected. The second and third ride were much more fun, not sure if it was because I knew what to expect or what but I now consider it to be a must ride when I take new people and ride when the line isn't long. Riding it with people that have never ridden before is so much fun! I love listening to them during and after the ride. It really is a unique experience that everyone should try at least once. I was really kind of surprised by the crowd today. We used our Fast Lane passes a few times and it seemed to cut the wait about in half. The Beast was 45 around 5:30 and we waited about 20 in the Fast Lane line. Food service was absolutely atrocious today, some of the worst I've seen all season. However, we brought 6 friends that hadn't been in several years, so it was still a great day. We rode everything except The Bat and The Racer. Considering going on closing day if the weather is nice. Great night tonight. Longest we waited was 15 minutes for FoF and Diamondback. Walk on for Banshee, Delirium, Firehawk, and Vortex. Platform waits for The Beast and Backlot. I vertigo was closed for most of the night, WindSeeker and Drop Tower were closed all night. I chuckled when reading the waivers, figuring that no one there for the night photos were from a modeling agency. I guess I didn't realize that models signed up for that sort of thing, but now I know. I really appreciated the ride ops after close who were just as enthusiastic as they were at 5pm.
