  1. Well that's mildly annoying. Guess I'm going on Sunday then.
  2. Hey y'all. I'm planning on going to the park tomorrow and using the free Fast Lane plus for renewing my pass. Where do I go to pick that up and would y'all recommend getting there early to do it? I know its a first come first serve type of thing, and I would expect the park to be packed tomorrow. Also where are all of the Fast Lane entrances for the coasters? I know where a few of them are. Thanks and happy Friday!
  3. Does this mean the park will be crazy busy that day?
  4. ^This... Also, to avoid one word posts...INB4LOCK...
  5. It's my second favorite ride at Kings Island. Reminds me of Rock'n Roller Coaster. Riding it in the front row is the best seat in the park besides Beast's and Diamondback's front row night rides. The lights have been working everytime I have ridden it this year which is awesome. It's a fantastic ride and I enjoy it everytime. The only thing I have never liked is the fact that it runs only 2 trains. Long live Flight of Fear!! PiperArcher...who is not trying to feed the trolls but rather trying to give some love toward FoF.
  6. Everyone else pretty much hit the nail on the head. Definitely build up the confidence, but don't leave the park regretting not riding certain rides. Go for it! I will say, The Beast is a "little" longer than 1.5-2 minutes...but it is a fantastic ride all the way!!
  7. I would be sad if they announced the removal of any current rides, though I doubt they will. I suppose as of now, I'll lean towards the return of Winterfest or something along the lines of special events for 2017.
  8. Plot twist...the ghost of Son of Beast is in that shed.
  9. Watch the first few seconds of this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u99UYZEy4G4 That is a drop track. Verbolten at BGW has one like it. That is the only thing that I could think of that can be in the shed...unless it's some gimmicky monster type deal like the Adventure Express final lift hill. Guess we'll find out in due time. I am stoked for this ride!
  10. Ah... GCI. Wonderful!! They really do make great rides. This will be exciting!
  11. Sounds like I'm watching some whacked out survivor style show. Which ride will get voted off the island? heh...
  12. Watching from home tonight. I cannot wait to be surprised! Less than 30 minutes!!
  13. Yea that's what I did. At the park now. Currently, Beast is three lower switchbacks and no station switchbacks long. Diamondback is the entire perimeter line with no switchbacks. Vortex, Bat, Racer and AE pretty much walk ons. Banshee is about 5-10mins. FoF and BLSC are hour waits with Firehawk about 45mins. Not the worst lines, but a little longer than I'd like.
  14. As per the RCDB, the fastest "wood" coaster is Lightning Rod at Dollywood which goes 73mph. I could see that record being the easiest to break. Edit: I should say, fastest non defunct wooden coaster.
  15. Anyone at the park today? How are the lines? Thinking about going up to the park later for a couple of hours.
  16. I'll have a go. Height: 90ft Drop: 115ft Speed: 58mph Length: 3800ft Manufacturer: GCI Duration: 2:25
  17. Everytime I have ridden FoF this year and last year, they have assigned seats. I've always tried to get the front row as it is my favorite. I hate it when they deny front row requests because "there is already a line." I'd rather wait longer and ride where I want and I'm sure others would say the same. Drives me nuts!!
  18. I know the footers next to and around the RR were mentioned earlier in the thread, but what were they from? I'm noticing them all throughout the train ride all the way from the waterpark station to the East side of the ride right after the bridge by Diamondback.
  19. Possibly. I caught more air on the hill after the splashdown than I ever have before though. I was pretty bummed to see the splashdown drained on my first day back this year.

  21. Diamondstack trimming hard today. Very little airtime on the bunny hills.
