  1. On the giga topic, I would love for a treble clef like element because that thing is insane. In addition, some small ejector hills would be great with a large float-jector hill in there as well. The coolest thing though would be if a triple or quadruple down were in the lineup of elements. If you've been on Lightning Rod or Voyage (or any coaster with this element I'd assume. I've only been on these two) you know how crazy these elements are. You get thrown up and slammed down. Just imagining this with the comfortable clamshells of B&M hypers/gigas I get all giddy inside lol

  2. ^I believe what was meant was that it may be better to get a coaster type (Invert in this case) after the company has mastered the design of it a bit more. The newer Banshee is better than the older Batman the Ride. So, going off this, since Kings Island is waiting on a giga, that giga should be better than the previous gigas, much like how most people believe Fury is better than Levi.

This is just my interpretation on what was said

  3. I think if they were going to CGI The Beast they would have done that instead of building Timbers. If the out cry was to get to the point that a majority of people called for it they would. Switching trains to to the CGI trains would be a plus but not sure if they could make them as long as the PTC trains. The Beast is different because of its leangth and I'm not sure if KI would want to sacrifice the rides per hour. I'm sure it could be done but I'm no engineer.

  4. I think it could be something pretty cool. Maybe having something at all Cedar Fair parks. Connected in someway. Something like the Marvel Universe. Where each ride would have its own base story but be connected to others. The sky's the limiton this they could have Dark rides connecting each story. They could even print Comic books to sell in the gift shops I see a lit of potential here .

  5. Very disappointed in a visit yesterday.  My wife and I made a trip to visit the park, probably the last one until Haunt.  We always try to go through the week, so we have the ability to do what we want.  I refuse to by Fast Lane Plus, because, in my opinion so criticize away, it is made for the millennials, born with a silver spoon in there mouth, saying "when you have money, you are more important than others."  Anyway, we buy platinum passes, because we do travel to other parks when possible, and kind of expect that when we visit, we should be able to have the same experience that all others get.
We arrived just after 10, walked right on Mystic Timbers, then kind of wandered for a few.  By the way, Mystic Timbers was a great ride.  The wife got a little overheated in the shed with the temperature being very high.  The shed was a waste in my opinion.  would rather just have some open air available to help with just trapping all the heat.  Anyway, walked to Diamondback, noticing Reds was not open, having never been open this year on any of the days we were there.  Rode Diamondback, waited 3 trains for back row seats just because that is where I love to ride.  Park was not very busy, but decided it would be a good time to try Smokehouse.  Rode the train over to Soak City and walked to Smokehouse to find a line at the door waiting to open at 12:05 or so.  We waited for about another 5 to 10 minutes for them to open.  We also noticed at this time that half of Soak City was closed.  Nothing on the east side of the park was going.  I may not know the correct names, but the lazy river was not open, the tube slides on that side was not open or any of the other slides there.  This was very disappointing.  The park was not busy, but the ones who were there paid the same price that all others paid.  Not staffing properly reflects on Kings Island as bad business in my opinion.  I understand some of the workers, younger kids, have went back to school, but there are still many others out there looking for jobs and need to be filled.  For example, if you went to McDonald's for lunch and they said you could only get fries and a drink, because their grill was not working because they weren't busy and didn't have anyone to work the grill, you would be very upset.  It is a business and you have to do what it takes to make things happen.  HIRE people and open the food services, and provide the best day possible as you want people to experience it.  HIRE people to operate rides.  Just a vent.  I know it is nothing that is going to change anything, but just had to voice my frustration.

Sorry to hear about your visit. Not sure about Reds HOF grill's hours but I always thought they didn't open till about 11:00 am as for Soak City they Don't open up till 12:00 pm. The last week of Daily operations has always been a hit and miss thing with me somethings are open others are close.

  6. I don't see the need for a fast pass. A least for me. Most the the lines of the rides I ride move pretty quickly. I never had to wait more the 45 mind in line on a busy day for Banshee or Diamondback. And with a Gold pass I can get early rides in on Mystic Timbers. The only exception is the night rides on The Beast but if you time it right it's not that long of a wait.

  7. I been doing a lit of thinking on this. And I think they should go for some more like ferrari rossa. Make it a launch coaster with some elements like intimidater 305 make it about 7000 ft long with a top speed of about 100 mph and theme it after the Bell X 1 the plane the broke the sound barrier. And place it in Xbase and have it go out through the woods.

  9. It be nice to have a Giga but I don't see it happening. Gigas are used as attention grabbers. Something that would make a park a must visit. KI already has that in The Beast.
