  1. Speaking of themed lift hills. Was wondering if the rattle you hear as the DB goes down the first drop by design or if it's something else cause it to sound like a rattle snake to me. A VERY LARGE RATTLE SNAKE. Or it could be just that it turns slightly to the left that makes it rattle either way I like to think of it as a Rattle snake noise.

  2. So my wife got hit in the face with a hat on Diamondback this afternoon. I know they don't allow glasses without straps, don't they require riders take off hats and secure them?

About what time and was the hat wearer sitting in the front row? We saw someone in front row holding onto his hat on down the first hill. Just curious if it was him.
Probably between 12-1 she was mid train and doesn't know who's hat it was.
Wasn't me I always sit in the back. I always hold on to my glasses and hat when I ride never lost any yet. Came close on Drop Tower and that was because the ride op told me it was ok to wear my glasses.

  3. I have watched a POV from 79 and one from present time. I don't know you tell me but it seems more intense now then it did back then. There are times where it seems it's faster now like going into the second lift hill. It's hard to tell.

  4. I have been riding The Beast since 1980. Day and Night rides. But believe it or not my very best experience on The Beast was last year during Halloween Haunt. It was like most night rides on The Beast until we crested the 2nd hill. And I looked out over the park covered in fog from the fog machines. And it was a full moon on top of that.

I have rode this thing at least 1000 times but that one ride last October is the one I will always remember . I don't remember much from my 1st ride because I rode it with my eyes closed. But it still counts LOL.

  5. Oh, I got it. The Racer Blue train can be MacGyver and the Red and can be MacGrubber.

No The Red Racer is Ponch. And the Blue Racer is John. I'm going to call The Racer CHiPs

  6. It kind of seems like they have forever to get this thing done (April 2017), but I roughly figure 240 days (only ~160 if they take the weekends off). Not a lot of time to build an entire wooden coaster and have it ready to open to the public.

    Not to mention the weather.

  7. Not to be confused with "Mysties" who are fans of a certain show from the 90s. In the not too distant future...

As a Mystie, I can honestly believe there is going to be some fan overlap.

You might have just guessed what's in the shed- a really bad, cheap movie.

  8. Ok I would name The Racer CHIP'S because the run side by side. Patrolling the mean steets of Coney Mall. And you have the red racer as the flashy guy Ponch. And the Blue Racer as the solid partner John.

And I would rename The Beast to Grizzly Adams cause he is a coaster the didn't like the flashy lights of International Street and Coney Mall and decided to live out in the woods behind Rivertown.
