KY State Fair: Sizzler Shut Down; to Get Seat Belts

That, of course, would be a Zipper...the one ride where I have uniformly seen the "NO ONE RIDES ALONE" rule applied...everywhere it runs.

I love Zippers, but I sure do wish I could ride one without having to have someone else with me! :)

Why is that? I have never ridden zipper because of the round motion..see previous comment re: monster

I thought those doors will latched, and locked with a cotter pin

They are, but Zippers are very violent rides. The second rider is part of the restraint system--preventing you from sliding sideways in the car...darn it! :)

My sister always rode it, but I wouldn't...I knew I would hurl on it.. I liked to watch it though

The first link in this thread indicates the ONLY Sizzler in operation in Kentucky was at the fair. I have no idea whether the one at Beech Bend is in operation or not, but I do know the manufacturer has recommended that seat belts be installed and the Commonwealth is not allowing Sizzlers without them to operate.
