CoastersRZ Posted August 29, 2007 Share Posted August 29, 2007 Well, if you are looking for an alternative to Kings Island, Coney usually has light crowds on Sunday of Labor day weekend. I`ve worked that day for each of the last five years. In case some of you have not been to Coney, it can be a different change of pace from some of the scream machines at Kings Island, not to mention the fact that it has some classic rides that aren`t found at a lot of major theme parks anymore. CoastersRZ Posted August 29, 2007 Share Posted August 29, 2007 Just so you know, Kings Island is NOT open this Friday. The park is open Saturday, Sunday and Monday only. In years past, the park had been open on the Friday of Labor day weekend, but crowds were understandably extremely light, and the park likely did not make much money on that day.
