The Interpreter 82068
I'm not sure I would agree with that viewpoint.
DropZone99 144
My guess is that next season it'll be back open. If the ride still has problems it'll be closed again and probably removed. I'd rather it just be removed.. Rivertown could expand, and there will be no asian temples in a western town.
Monroe 1971
^But in the western town of Tazba, you have eastern boys and western girls.
Browntggrr 6529
Now that CF owns the park and is in the process of de-Paramountization, I think that maintaining TR:TR is not a priority. Then what they have been doing with it all year? There have been numerous reports that the themeing has been removed for repair and/ or replacement. Obviously they are doing something.
Tuskin 1175
And I do believe I remember someone saying that they lose the license to trtr and ijst next year.. so it could be a re-theme or they could just be repairing and re-newing the license next year.
KDCOASTERFAN 0
Do all top spins break often, or is Tomb Raider special? The last time I was at KD back in august TR:FF was stuck just short of the platform so I guess it's all top spins that suffer from frequent downtime.Zamperla's Roto-shake ride was also plauged by mechanical problems which led to their removal in just about every US park that had one. BGE also had a ride similar to SFKK's Quake, known as Gladiator's Gauntlet & like Quake the ride suffered from frequent downtime which led to it's removal in the late 90's I believe. Tuskin 1175
Well none the less trtr has always seemed to have a lot of downtime these past few years
XGatorHead 8904 5129
^But in the western town of Tazba, you have eastern boys and western girls. Ooo, you're so close... "In a West End town, a dead end world The East End boys and West End girls" Thanks for playing...
flightoffear1996 4169
I think it would be cool to theme it as a fort and have a Cowboys and Indains ride.
Tuskin 1175
That could be really cool they could turn that ugly box on the ouside into looking like a BIG FORT .. althought again thats a lot of money to do lol it would still be pretty nifty

HelixSpiral 2
If you ever watchign the Discorvy video they explained those noises. He's not talking about the noise from the resistor banks. He means the noises from the ride unit itself. I agree the noises would seem odd to a random guest, however I think the fact that it's in a metal building makes it worse than it would be outside with ambient noise. Browntggrr 6529
It could just be a Huss design/ engineering issue. Look at both Delirium and Maxair. Both have had lengthy downtime issues. Perhaps Huss is to flat rides as Intamin is to coasters?

Browntggrr 6529
^ Depends on what your opinion of lengthy is. Maverick's heartline. MF's elevator cable has snapped a couple of times. As well as the main computer has blown at least once. Etc. But I was actually leaning more towards the early issues of WT, TTD, and KK.

Tuskin 1175
No Intamin is actually doing alright right now, not fantastic, but they are alright
Browntggrr 6529
With that I guess I will agree. Except for the fact that Intamin has not gone broke. Well they have installed all of those coasters for over $100 million total since 2000. That is not exactly a bad 7 years. They have also installed almost 50 coasters around the World in that same time span. With another 7 coming in 2008. Apparently there are many parks that are not scared off from Intamin's recent operating issues.

Aves 1
I don't know, it's seems everyone says something random at one point, and that was mine!
The Interpreter 82068
Those things weren't random, as will be seen in the future. You'll look back and see the flight of fancy here was more than that.

XGatorHead 8904 5129
Now I'm trying to interpret what The Interpreter has said. Does that make me the interpreter in this case? A paradox has just occured...
