Thanks For Another Amazing Season!

Recommended Posts

The staff of KICentral.com would like to extend a warm and sincere thank you to the literally countless people who have helped to make 2007 the most successful year that we've had yet! Everyone from park officials down to everyday forum posters have made this site what it is today. We're proud to have served the fans of Kings Island for four seasons now, and eagerly wait to resume the amazement, thrills and chills that 2008 will bring.

Of course, things aren't over yet! Kings Island is always buzzing with activity, and KICentral.com will continue to be your complete source of Kings Island information through the offseason. We are proud of our strong synergy with Kings Island and Cedar Fair and can only assure you that there is nothing but surprises and excitement on the horizon in the coming year.

Of course, it's not too early to start thinking about 2008 season passes! Kings Island only, Kings Island Gold, and Cedar Fair Platinum passes are currently on sale and if you purchase by November 11th, you still get FREE parking and a FREE Cedar Fair VIP jacket! You can purchase your season passes online at PKI.com's season pass center or by visiting the park Monday, Novenber 5th through Sunday, November 11th from 10am to 4pm. While there, you can purchase your pass, process your pass, and collect your Cedar Fair VIP jacket!

Also speaking of the 2008 season, Kings Island is getting ready to hold auditions for live shows and entertainment for next year's season. Next year Kings Island is looking for singers, actors, variety artists, show characters, musicians, meet and greet characters, technicians and costumers, stage managers and supervisors, and character cohorts. Auditions will be November 2nd through the 12th at various locations. Click here for details.

Did you know that Kings Island has a new owner? Last June, Cedar Fair LP (the owners of such parks as Cedar Point and Knott's Berry Farm) purchased all of the Paramount Parks. 2007 was the first year that Cedar Fair owned Kings Island for an entire season. They have been working very hard to improve the looks, cleanliness, and overall experience that the park has to offer. How do you think they did? If you register on the forums of KICentral you can take our poll giving Cedar Fair a grade for its performance during the 2007 season and tell us your thoughts.

Regards,

Ryan
