Also, somebody on the news said, "I heard it's gonna be 500 feet tall and its going to have 600 loops," I was like, "If you rode that you'd die." Ugh, people are so ignorant, making stuff up. That being said, guests do not belong in the fountains or ponds, except they skate on the I-Street fountain pool during Winterfest...oh, wait... PKIPoodle Posted March 26, 2009 Share Posted March 26, 2009 No one is aware of that incident, which I find interesting, just as nobody was aware of Karl Wallenda's walk in the 70's until his grandson recently walked a tightrope at Kings Island. Anybody know that an employee has been struck by lightning in the parking-lot before? i heard something similar (if that one has any basis in truth, this one is probably the usual rumor mill sorta funny addons) that someone was struck in the lot and tried to sue the park for not warning that that might happen in a storm at the park. "That would be a lot of people's knee-jerk reaction in these types of situations." The lawyer has filed suit against the amusement park asking unspecified damages, arguing the park should have "warned" people not to be outside during a thunderstorm. I also heard a stupid one that said that KI imported all new rides called Invertigo, Flight Deck, Drop Tower, and The Crypt. And That peaple who own the park designed the rides. I heard from a kid in line for SoB that they were moving Mean Streak down here and calling it the Uncle of Beast? I also heared that TTD was coming down here and going where the FX Theatre is once.
