BoddaH1994 Posted April 15, 2009 Share Posted April 15, 2009 As reported by the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Diamondback first rider auction has generated approximately $102,000* for the Ohio non-profit organization A Kid Again. This is the largest fund raiser that the organization has had since it began operating in Cincinnati according to Hap Dirkin, executive director of A Kid Again. All proceeds will benefit A Kid Again, which is an organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of children with life threatening illnesses by providing healing times of respite through fun-filled group activities and destination events. A Kid Again is a 501©(3) not-for-profit organization and all bids and donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the IRS code. The top bid was an incredible $5,000 placed by the Blackhawk Network, a credit card software company based out of California. The second highest bid was set by Allan Hague, a coaster enthusiast and resident of Texas. On behalf of the KICentral Universe, we would like to thank everyone who contributed to this great cause.
