I've heard Taproot - Wherever I Stand and Jet Black Stare - Ready To Roll played in Diamondback's queue. What music have you heard playing in queues, or throughout the park?

I say we get a list going. I have a Cedar Point playlist on my iPod with 41 songs.. I wouldn't mind having a Kings Island playlist.. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Headstrong - Trapt (Speakers in front of the Snakepit)

Green Grass and High Tides - The Outlaws (Front gate)

Don't Stop Believin' - Journey (Front gate as I left on Sunday)

I heard Gwen Stefani - Rich Girl, when walking past the Eiffel Tower. When they're playing the classic rock, I've heard Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb a couple of times. I've noticed the music several times but just don't remember any of it now.

"A Baby Changes Everything" by Faith Hill (in line for DBack)

I heard that too! I have no idea why they'd be playing that at a theme park, it does NOT fit in with the atmosphere at the park at all.

EDIT: I got more songs coming to me.

How to Save a Life - The Fray (Right outside Zephyr) (Our group Sunday morning was laughing at this)

Learn to Fly - Foo Fighters (Coney Mall near the arcade)

When I was there last Sunday, I heard Sonorous by Protonic in line for DB.. and I laughed to myself. I heard that song played several times last year while waiting for a very large blue Intamin at a certain park up north.

Gasp! I wonder which large blue Intamin that could be...

*Ponders*

What about the music videos played in the queue for DBack? Every time I've ridden it I've heard one of about three songs - "Without You", "A Baby Changes Everything" and a hip hop video by a female artist (not a huge hip hop fan so I don't remember what that song is).

Off the top of my head:

"Don't Fear the Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult

"Put Me in Coach" by John Fogerty

"Message in a Bottle" by The Police

"Streetcorner Symphony" by Rob Thomas

and at least a few Matchbox 20 songs, but I can't remember which ones.

Good trivia question! Does anybody know what the very first song played out side the front gate opening day morning? I know....do you?????

Was it "American Woman" by the guess who? Or was that the song that was playing when they cranked it up at around 9:30?

Others I heard:

"Finding My Way" by Rush;

"Hey You" by Pink Floyd;

"Golden Years" by David Bowie;

"Piece of My Heart" by Janis Joplin;

"Round and Round" by Ratt;

"The Boys Are Back In Town" by Thin Lizzy

"Tied to the Whippin' Post" by the Allman Brothers

"Dancin' Days" by Led Zeppelin

"Evil Woman" by the Electric Light Orchestra

"Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd

I'm confused.What ride are you referring to :lol: ?

Anyways, I don't know the name of any of the songs I've heard at Kings Island except for "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Which, of course I'm only 15, so I wasn't around when most of the artists were huge hits in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and even the early 00s because I can't remember back then.

"Put Me In Coach" is actually called "Centerfield". Great song though :)

Ohhhhh, thanks! I googled it to see the artist and wondered why it was slightly hard to find, LOL! I kept thinking "I've heard this a million times so I know it was a popular song." Having the wrong title explains a lot.
