Well last weekend a guy had a shirt that Fu*k you,you Fu*king Fu*k.Luckily has was booted out by some of the parks Action Zone managers. I can't believe he made it though security at the front of the park and got past admissions. I don't really mind the cut-off shirts that much and most of the tops these girls wear are swimsuit tops but I must say they are really revealing I'm a guy and I don't mind it but some girls need to have more respect for themselves !

Especially the young girls! More than once, I've thought that KI is a pedophiles' dream come true! It would be frightening if one (or more) of these sick predators started frequenting the park!

I guess it boils down to a matter of personal taste... I think it would be funny for some of you who seem to be offended by seeing a portion of the male chest to go see a drum corps rehearsal.

As a side note, Mr. Avatar... I must say, I laughed heartily while reading your comment... I totally agreed and felt like saying - "Hello pot, meet the kettle"

I was in line for Firehawk and there was a girl behind me and I wasent sure if she was a girl but she was wering tht kind of shirt with the sides ripped open and my freinds made fun of her cause she dressed like a guy and kinda looked like one.

You made fun of someone because they were not like you!

I didnt do anything I actully waled the line and was pretty far away from them until they relived the line was almost half way to the station.

Nothing that anyone in the Glam Rockers group wore was inappropriate or extremely revealing. Did you happen to look at the photos of our group? Thank you very much for an insult that was not deserved. As KIC members, and/or members of a distinguished coaster enthusiast group, we do have some common sense.

In reality, aside from the feather boas we occasionally threw on, we really were not dressed much differently than some of the general public. Go pick out something we wore that is so disgusting that it would have gotten us ejected from the park (which we were not). Find a photo and circle the malicious piece of clothing, and tell us in detail why the person shouldn't be wearing it, and why it is not in accordance with park rules and regulations. Go ahead.

Oh my goodness.

I think it was great you all did that and I enjoyed reading the reports and seeing the pictures you all shared. If I could have gotten away I would have joined you all. In truth back in my old days I bought a inappropriate shirt and was told to change to or wear it inside out and since them realized that was inappropriate not comparing to the Glam Rockers (to be clear) but to other inappropriate dressed guest who may find down the road that they were out out line as I did. I am also glad that the Internet was not around like it is today back in the early eighties as there would be many picture of me dressed out to promote different causes that would have made the fun group Glam Rockers look really tame in comparison. In my opinion this issue of dressing has not changed since I was a little Kid in the 60's to present and I do not see it going away in my life time. As far as a group getting together like Glam Rockers keep it up people enjoy seeing others having fun.

I am a bit shocked that someone would take my post about dress so seriously, as it was not meant to be taken that way. Just some fun humor amongst fellow members.

And sadly this is everywhere you go. I know there are some real sickos out there, but I also know you can't go anywhere during the summer months without seeing some underage girl showing off way too much for her age and the parents let it happen, and then wonder why something bad happens to their kids. There are times when I think the clothing manufacturers ought to be held accountable since they are the ones putting this stuff out there for our kids to wear. My daughter and I hate to go clothes shopping because it is so hard to find clothes that actually are clothes, and not something to showcase certain parts of the body. Water parks are one thing, but just generally out in public, parents should make sure the best they can that their kids are dressed appropriately and stop letting their kids run wild. Just my opinion, love it or hate it.

Thats cool, I would hope that next time you tell your friends to take a chill pill; No one like to be made fun of for being different. :)

Next meet up we all should dress like Amish people, long dresses for the ladies and fake beards and pants for the guys

Actually the beards are not fake; they have a speciffic meaning. An Amish male wears a beard to show he is not available; he is taken, Married. :) Single Amish males do not wear one to show they are single and can play. Sort of speaking.

I've seen people wear those shirts with sleeves ripped off, yeah I don't need to see that ether. And the people that don't wear a shirt, and want to get on a ride and can't. lol

Tell me about it.I was just getting off avalanche yesterday at KD when this 8 year old comes screaming & crying down the ramp,I figured he couldn't ride because he was too short but it was because he had no shirt on & refused to calm down long enough to put one on.

Also over by FOF while waiting for anaconda to reopen following some downtime a whole group of girls obviously fresh out of waterworks were hanging around & one of them just had her shorts unbuttoned exposing her suit bottom....which to me looked like nothing more than green underwear which was disgusting IMHO....sure it was hot yesterday at the park but still you need to follow the rules & keep your top down & your bottom up over your swimsuit when in the park because most people simply don't want to see that.

I don't know. The Voyage shirts that the kids and I wore were pretty close to the line. :)

Ah, you just brought up another pet peeve of mine- not wearing a shirt at all! Unless you're in Boomerang Bay, it's not appropriate.

If I am correct...back in 2005 PKISecurityRules, It was MANDATORY that all guests wear a shirt in the Theme Park unless in boomerang bay. Even at AmazonFalls and WhiteWaterCanyon, you'd see riders wringing out shirts AND pants(YES...OFF) of course in the exit ques. People would dress but not without a verbal altercation.

I'm a big fan of sleeveless shirts. During the hot days of summer, that's the only type of shirt I wear to the park, pre- and post-season is when I'll wear actual t-shirts. But I'm very picky about the type of sleeveless shirt I buy. I don't wear tank tops in public, only in the privacy of my own home... in fact, I'm wearing one right now. The sleeveless shirts I wear in public look like t-shirts, only with no sleeves. And they are not open down the sides. That's a prerequisite... there's too much of me that you all don't need to see! But I will say that I was thrilled when I got my costume for Haunt last year... a sleeveless shirt! I get hot easily, and this definitely helped... except on those cold nights walking to and from Club Blood. Then it got a little chilly. But inside, it was just perfect!

And you can bet I'll be wearing a sleeveless shirt when I go to the park this afternoon!

EDIT: I just noticed, in my avatar... what am I wearing?

Just cant let this one go without my 2 cents worth!

For the guys (or should I say gangsta wannabes?) who wear their pants down to their ankles--no one is impressed and no one wants to see your underpants. I wonder how many of those idiots would still wear their pants that way if they knew what it actually means? (it comes from prison and means they are "availiable")

Maybe they just like walking like penguins!

One day at CP while walking around I decided to take a picture of the lowest pants of the day-this guy had his pants literally at his knees and some stupid looking boxer underwear. He was the winner of the day.

For the girls-please use a full length mirror before you leave the house!! Drooping boobs, huge muffin tops, stretch marks, butts screaming to get out of your pants cause it cant breathe, and huge stomachs are not pleasant for everyone else! If you wear size 16, PLEASE wear size 16 and stop trying to fit into size 10! As a guest and a Mom to 2 daughters I am appauled at the way some of the girls dress. They obviousely think the attention they are getting is good. My daughters have far more respect for themselves then to ever dress like that, not to mention I wouldn't have allowed it.

I find it incredible that the parents of these girls allow the skincapade.

The question then is can KI do anything about this? They could learn from Holiday World. They don't even let anyone thru the gate if they feel they are not dressed appropriately. I have seen them make females put their top on over their bathing suit top as well as making a guest turn his shirt inside out because it said something semi-obscene. You make rules about dress and if a guest doesn't abide by them then they can be nicely reminded when a supervisior sees them in the park.

It just seems to me every year the guests get skankier (sp?) and skankier. Scares me to think what next year's fashion has in store for us! <_<

I whole-heartedly agree about the clothing choices of some park guests. My mother would have never let me out of the house that way (nor did I ever have an inclination to). Also, it's just gross. Yes people get hot. Summer=hot season and that means sweating. Pardon the more gross comment here folks: Clothes soak that sweat up to a point. Wearing a bikini top or those ripped open shirts just means all your nasty sweat gets all over the seats... ugh!!

My wife has had to tell me to "look down!" many, many times this season because of the attire choices of some guests. I can only imagine.

In my humble opinion, words sewn across the backsides of shorts is degrading to the wearer, whether they care about it or not. <_<

I saw a guy in line for Beast wearing a shirt that in not so many words, invites us to enjoy a day of removing feathers from pheasants. How clever. <_<

I have seen attire that have blatant, disprespectful messages about people's beliefs. Thankfully, these very forums have rules and diligent moderation to protect us from experiencing the kinds of feelings this attire can invoke.

I'm done ranting. I feel better, now. :)

I want to know what is up with a woman, girl sometimes, wearing a short dress or skirt with high heels to KI. I seem to see at least one each time I go. I take it they are not walking very far and not ridding many rides? I also don't get the longer skirts either. If you have a jean skirt down to your ankles how do you get on some of those rides? Example: DB, Delirium, Invertigo, DT.

Indyguy wondering, for he never seems these people getting on one of these rides. Could that be my answer?

EDIT: Post 500!

I am part of the younger, new millennium generation here who are apparently to blame for all of this clothing mayhem. I can say that I, and most others of my age, are into the freedom of being able to wear whatever we want, and express that freedom.

That being said, I do think that there is a point where that freedom can and will be abused, and many people have crossed it. First, the lack of clothing. I will admit it, with me being 13 the lack of clothing has not bothered me too much at all recently. But, I will say that Kings Island is a public facility and people of all ages are here to enjoy Kings Island. If you want to have a 2 piece bikini on while swimming at Boomerang Bay fine, go ahead, but there are rules set down by Kings Island, and also there are certain places where it just is not acceptable to be that bare. You ever think some people (Like the numerous children and their parents and grandparents) at Kings Island may not WANT to see that?

Second, what is being shown on clothing. Again, our generation enjoys the fact that we can express ourselves through our clothing. But, I have no interest in your T Shirt describing drug use, sexual activities, or violent ambitions. During RWCW I actually saw one t-shirt with the McDonalds golden arches on it, except they were grass, and the T-Shirt said "Marijuana, I'm Smokin It". That is NOT appropriate for a family oriented place such as Kings Island. Please, consider where you are. If you want to wear a shirt that shows someone killing someone else, please save it for somewhere else. I am surprised these people are not turned down admission to the park, let alone being escorted from the park.

Rant over, let's ride!

I saw that person too. Being talked to by security, thankfully. :)

^The jean skirts down to the ankles is a religion thing. My sister had a friend in high school who went to a church where a majority of the girls wore those all the time (I forget the type of church).

I believe those are of the Pentecostal Faith. They also do not cut their hair. I believe the Duggars... the family with about 1,237 kids... are of that faith. (I am not affiliated.)

Understood... but as you mature, you'll realize how it screams of simply "wanting attention." Rely on talent. ethics, and your word to make those statements for you. Those last longer and speak volumes. ;-)

I can answer this one for ya. It's Apostolic/Pentecostal. I wear skirts only, and yeah most of the time..they are ankle length. I wear longer lengths when I'm there with the kids and know I'm not going to be riding much of anything that requires the middle seatbelt. On days I know I'm going to be riding Delirium, Drop Tower, DB, Slingshot, etc., I wear a skirt that is just past my knees. Decent enough for rides and my religious beliefs.

Oh and a funny tidbit of info regarding ankle length..it's not required we wear them that long..basically as long as the knee is covered, you are ok...but most of the time, they are worn that long because well..... we haven't shaved that day or didn't have time to. And you can thank me for that mental image next time you see one dragging the ground heheh :)
