It was just over a year ago that the legendary Rick Wallenda set a new world record at Kings Island by doing an incredible high wire from the Eiffel Tower, past the front gate and back. This year, Kings Island does it again!

Nik Wallenda, a seventh generation member of the legendary Flying Wallendas, will bring high flying thrills to Kings Island once again on August 15th as he makes an incredible high wire walk from the parking lot to the Eiffel Tower - a distance of over 800'! This walk will be at an incredible height of 262' -- three times higher than the walk done by Rick Wallenda last year.

Nik Wallenda's death-defying walk will take place on August 15th at 7:00p and is included FREE with park admission!

MASON — When Nik Wallenda performs at Kings Island next month, he’ll be following in his family’s footsteps.

His footsteps will just happen to be more than 25 stories above the amusement park on a high wire as wide as a nickel.

The 30-year-old Sarasota, Fla., man visited Kings Island Friday afternoon, July 24, to scope out the site of his highest stunt ever. Scheduled for 7 p.m. Aug. 15, the stunt will find Wallenda walk from the park’s entrance to the Eiffel Tower on an 801 foot high wire 264 feet above the ground.

For Wallenda, reaching new heights – and walking across them – is in his blood. He is a seventh-generation member of the world-famous Wallenda family of daredevils that started performing in the 1780s. He also is the third member of the family to appear at the park since it opened....

Cedar Point...underrated?! Ha ha ha, don't make me laugh. That's like saying The Beatles are one of the most underrated bands of all time; it's a load of baloney. Not to say The Beatles are overrated (they aren't, in my opinion), but the Point IS overrated (in my opinion), due to the fact that it's been the #1 amusement park in the world nine, soon to be ten, years in a row by Amusement Today. If anything, Dollywood and/or Holiday World should be on the list.
