Thanks Button

On vBulletin boards, there's an option to enable a "Thanks for this useful post" button. Does the new version of Invision Boards have this feature as well? If so, I think it would be a cool idea to enable it here. It could be a nice (albeit small) incentive to post helpful information. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, think of it as the Facebook "Like" button.

Any thoughts?

There is a small plus sign and minus sign in the bottom right corner of each post on this board that I imagine does about the same thing... They don't seem to be working for me, but I believe that's the general idea behind them. If you agree you hit plus, if you disagree you hit minus, etc. Perhaps they've been disabled by the administrator, as that would require an entirely new set of rules, bring about a lot of hurt feelings, etc.

I like the idea. If there was a "Thanks" button, I'd press it for this idea.

Awww, thanks. :)

The problem with post karma/reputation (as it seems to be called in IPB) is that instead of using it for its intended purpose, people would give negative rep to people who disagree with them.

I think to help combat that, just a plus button would be better. That way you know who's useful and you can make your own judgement on who is useless. This should help avoid that whole immaturity factor.
