Kings Island Invites You to Make an Impact, Cedar Fair is Coasting For Kids, Signed Sealed Delivered

Recommended Posts

Kings Island invites you to buy a duck… and possibly win a car! That’s right – Kings Island has teamed up with the Greater Cincinnati Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure to raise money for breast cancer awareness.

Guests of Kings Island are invited to purchase a pink duck at Kings Island between August 1st and August 21st for $5 (or 5 for $20) and chuck it into the fountain. One lucky duck will be drawn from the fountain on August 21st and will win a 2010 Toyota Yaris from Joseph Toyota of Cincinnati! All net proceeds from this contest will benefit the Susan G. Komen fund.

Want to do more? Visit the park during Pink Days, between August 1st and 21st, and purchase your tickets from cincysavers.com and you will save $20 off the gate admission. Plus $1 from each ticket sale will benefit the Greater Cincinnati Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen fund. Also during Pink Days some of your favorite Kings Island treats such as ice cream, funnel cake, popcorn, Sprite, t-shirts and other merchandise will be available in pink as well! What a fantastic way to have fun while fighting for a cure!

Cedar Fair has partnered with Give the Kids the World to create a memorable experience for park fans and coaster enthusiasts alike – all while working for a greater cause.

Give the Kids the World is an organization that allows children with life-threatening illnesses and their families to have a magical weeklong vacation at the Give the Kids the World Village in Kissimmee, FL.

Enthusiasts are encouraged to raise at last $50 for the organization, with prizes going to the top three donors. Those who participate will receive a complementary admission to the Cedar Fair park of their choice, a “Coasting for Kids” t-shirt, unlimited rides on the specific attraction at the park of their choice (Kings Island’s ride is The Racer) as well as specific perks unique to the park.

If you choose to participate, you can create a fundraising page by following the link below. Promote it on KICentral, Facebook, Twitter, at work, at school, etc! This will certainly be a great day and will support a fantastic cause.

If all of these great opportunities are putting you in a good mood then you should treat yourself to something amazing. Check out “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” right now at Kings Island’s International Showplace Theatre!

“Signed, Sealed, Delivered” is a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Motown and features such artists as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, the Jackson 5 and the 4 Seasons. This song and dance show is vocally unmatched by anything that Kings Island has offered in recent history.

Follow the link below to see photos of “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” but in reality, photos do this show no justice. This is a must-see for anyone who loves Kings Island’s shows or Motown music!

Great to hear the amusement industry doing so much to help out those in need. I am definitely going to be buying that 5 for 20 deal, the money goes to a good cause, my grandmother survived breast cancer when I was 7, and that experience is something I will never forget in my life. Thank you KICentral, and thank you Kings Island.
