Blackpool to get Nickelodeon Land

...Nickelodeon's popular shows and characters will come to life with more than 14 attractions covering an area of 6 acres at Pleasure Beach. Construction on "Nickelodeon Land" will begin this fall and the grand opening is scheduled for the spring of 2011.

"Nickelodeon Land" at Pleasure Beach will be one of several Nick-branded attractions and parks around the world. In addition to "Nickelodeon Universe" in Minneapolis' Mall of America, "Nick Central" at Dreamworld Australia and "Nickland" at Movie Park Germany, there are Nickelodeon attractions at the Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla. and Hollywood, Calif....

Too bad Nickelodeon sucks now. I mean, what good shows are there running right now? Spongebob....and.....uh.........

They're turning into Disney Channel. Which means, would this Nickelodeon Land have things like iCarly in it? Or do you think they'll stick to cartoons?

You do realize that Blackpool is in England, right?

What is popular there (or even shown there) is not necessarily a mirror of the United States of America....

Oh, I actually thought Britain watched American shows a lot.

Hopefully then they have good shows! :P
