Beast Tunnel Entrance/Exit Reprofile

You can see a piece of steel track resting on the handrail in the left side of the photograph. This photo gives you a really good sense for the workmanship and skill that still goes into maintaining wooden roller coasters. You can see the layers they use to build the track structure and everything. These guys really have a unique skill set and put a lot of heart and soul into what they do. Some of the best around. I had the opportunity to spend some time with them in the past and do a photographic essay on them, which is now in my portfolio here.

I'm really glad to see KI posting more behind the scenes type photos like this. I think it gives people an appreciation for what goes on in the off and regular seasons and is a neat way to take advantage of social media.
