Holiday World

Recommended Posts

depends on the weather for the day, your speed of riding & willingness to wait in lines. it is small compared to chain parks, but there is a bunch of hill's (think dollywood). but your sure to have a great time, & you might see me as this (& indiana beach) is where ill spend most of my park trips this year.

On a Tuesday, the crowds will be pretty light. Like rotag said, weather will make a big difference as well.

Remember this, the water park is the main draw. When most people visit Holiday World, the first thing they do is ride the dry rides. After they eat lunch, they head over to Splashin Safari. After lunchtime, the dry side of the park usually isn't crowded at all. I've racked up 10 rides on the Raven in less than an hour around 3 or 4 o'clock.

So if you don't plan on hitting the water park, you'll have plenty of time. If you are hitting the water park, it won't be terrible since you'll be visiting on a Tuesday.

I'll have to agree with the above post. The water park is by far the biggest draw. Try to behave the exact opposite the crowds. I don't think the early entrance is the key. Going where the crowds aren't is the key to having a good day at HW. With the new Timberline trains installed on The Voyage they were using one of the trains from one of the older coasters (I think The Raven) which kept that coasters capacity down last season, that problem should be alleviated this season. The lines flowed fairly well in the afternoon in the dry part of the park. Try to schedule lunch differently than the rest of the guest as well.
