Site won't let me log out

Recommended Posts

Not sure if this is related to KICentral or not. When I leave the site, I sign out first. But then when I come back to the forums later, it shows me as already being logged in. Does anyone know why that happens?

This would be a problem with the cookie that this site is using to remember your session. Since the site isn't properly invalidating the information in the cookie or removing the cookie itself, you can do so manually.

Check your browser documentation for instructions on removing individual cookies. You'll want to delete cookies from KICentral.com. (Or you can clear them all, but that will make all sites forget you entirely.)

Just exit the browser and your problem should be fixed. Unless, of course, if you hit the "remember me" feature.

Yeah, I thought exiting the browser would fix it....but after trying that several times, I found it didn't work. And I rarely use the "Remember me" feature, but after testing it a bit this evening, I found that didn't help either. Thanks for the response. :)

I'll give that a try and see what happens. Thanks! :)

^ Uncheck "Enable HTML" at the bottom, then try again.

Alternatively, you could keep HTML enabled and use manual tags to style your text. (You'd want to use <span> and/or <div> tags with style attributes.)

Even when I unchecked "Enable HTML" it wouldn't let me do anything

I want to insert a quote but don't know how to with manual tags and have it look like what I just quoted you.
