Seasonal hiring for the 2014 season will probably begin after the 2013 season ends. Information will definitely be posted on the park's website.

They're likely continuing to hire for this season throughout the fall, so you could probably apply for a job (weekends through 10/27/13) now.

Thanks guys I appreciate it. I can't apply for 2013 because I live in West Virginia and am currently in school. However, the safety director emailed me today and said that applications for 2014 will be available on December 1st. :D I wonder if I could actually get a full time after graduation?! That would be sick.

^You would fit in real good then as an EMT in Chicago. Park injuries are a far cry from combat injuries that a medic is trained for. Combat medics serve in the front lines are the reason why badly injured soldiers have a chance to be stabilized and evacuated to field hospitals for further, advanced life saving treatment. The Air Forces PJ's are a specialized force that besides being trained medics, are a special operation force that can parachute or be lifted in by chopper that can fight their way to a downed pilot or soldiers that need their advanced care. The only training that I received in the Army was basic combat first aid training as compared to the advanced combat first aid training that soldiers being deployed receive or in infantry units.

Yup...PJ's are a fun bunch of people, had the privilege of training with a few of them during some quarterly excercises....Think what PJ's do...my career field can go even a bit higher than them and work alongside them as their teams medic...If ya ever see an IDMT, watch them work, just badass pros with medicine...Even can make a Navy Corpsman weak in the knees :P and those are some of the people in combat medicine I respect the most
