Hi! I was thinking about what kind of ride Kings Island will build next. What do you think the next ride Kings Island will build is? A Water Ride? A Family Ride? A Kids Ride? Or maybe a Thrill Ride? I would honestly love to get a ride like Skyhawk, Screamin' Swing, or the Giant Barn Swing.

It has already been decided, 2019 Intamin giga coaster where the rest of Son of Beast was, it will even utilize a refurbished SOB station. <a href="http://s362.photobucket.com/user/x241/media/2019ki.png.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i362.photobucket.com/albums/oo63/x241/2019ki.png" border="0" alt=" photo 2019ki.png"/></a> Tr0y, wishfully thinking

With all the stuff happening in AZ this year, I believe Coney Mall should get some attention. And by Coney Mall I mean X-Base. In the 2015 season it should open as its own section of the park with a new coaster and maybe a flat ride (the more I elaborate on this, the more I'm thinking 2016/17). I posted this awhile ago, but here's a concept I sketched up with Pages:

And as for what kind of coaster we should recieve, I would pick a Rocky Mountain Coaster. Reasoning: I don't plan on going all the way to silver dollar city to ride Outlaw Run. Although I'm not sure how well that kind of coaster would work with the whole "X-Base" theme.

I would love a RMC Hybrid coaster. But I've always wondered... we know that there is two elevators on the Eiffel Tower, but I believe they only use one of them. The right one, to be in particular. Maybe the one on the left could be use as a drop ride?

LOL! Actually, they go to different platforms; the left elevator goes up to the 265-foot platform, while the right elevator goes up to the 275-foot platform. The left one is sometimes used instead of the right one on rainy days, so as to allow the floor of the platform above to shield people from the rain, and both are used on busy days such as Saturdays.

Its a beautiful thing when pigs fly, but you do realize there is a huge elevation change in the areas you are propossing for that concourse?

X base does need some attention, the simplist long term thing (in my mind) is to do something w/ the maintence shed area and relocate the work done there to other areas in the park or find a way to hide it amongst a handful of flats (and a restroom) back there. If/when they get ride of Dino's Alive, they could use that area for a small coaster with lots of elevation changes.

However, my guess before any of that happens is something simple back in Planet Snooopy, the Flying Eagles would work great there, perhaps clear out snoopy junction and put the eagle there, if they're willing to sacrafice some of the picnic area, they'd probably have room to install another small kid friendly coaster as well back in that area. 6 flags ignored that KI calls Surf Dog a coaster and claims to have the most coasters in their kids area at one of their parks (I forget which one is getting an additional small coaster in their kids area). While KI would like to say they are (or will be) tied w/ KI's coaster count (4) in their kids area, why not remove all doubt and put in a small launching coaster, kind of like firechaser express? That area could use a few more things for the in between crowd (ie b/w 42" and 48" where you can get on The Beast, Vortex, Racer, etc...)

In addition, the one thing the water park is missing is a water coaster. Even Great Wolf Lodge has one next door IIRC, and based upon the price tag I saw for Mamoth, they are not all that expensive (in comparision to Banshee)

The next big coaster addition along the lines of Banshee likely won't happen for another 4-5 seasons. CW got theirs 2 years ago, Cedar Pointe got theirs last season, KI is on the docket this season with Banshee, Carrowinds is presumed to get one next season (Centurian) then Kings Dominion will be due, then back to CW and the cycle will repeat.

Michigan's Adventure?

They need a new coaster. It doesn't even have to be that big. Or even a drop ride, or some other thrilling ride. Heck, a WindSeeker would fit nicely into that park IMO.

I agree with you 100% on that.

.....On another note.....

Michigan's Adventure is a decent park right now, but is by no means, a great park. I believe that the park has quite a bit more potential than what has been shown over the course of the Cedar Fair ownership.

The park does not need an "over-haul" but I would say that an "upgrade" is needed. I do not believe at all that Michigan's Adventure is a bad park, because it's actually a pretty decent park, but what I do believe is that the park could be a whole lot more than what it is now, in many aspects.

Why are some of you so hell-bent on squeezing coasters in everywhere? Believe it or not, other rides can be built in an amusement park.

Unrealistic.

You think I was trying to be realistic? HAHAHAHA why would you think that? There's so much wrong with my mock-up its not even funny. Besides its all just for fun. None of this stuff is going to happen. Also, I've played waaaay too much RCT3 to not want to try and squeeze in roller coasters everywhere.
