Ummm you should never meet people online alone. When going to KIC events that are open you should always inform a parent and if it's your first time bring a friend or parent ... We should all be on the up and up but never ever take that chance.... /rant

I don't know what the first post said, but any number of us would be okay meeting your dad if that is what is wrong. As a mom of a teen, I know I would not let her go to a meet up alone with people I do not know. It's not so much that I do not trust her, it's I don't trust a lot of other people. Jr said it, one day you will understand.

Ps, we will even put on our best behavior.

My parents were very relaxed with letting me do things growing up. As long as they knew where I was and when I'd be back they didn't care. They are fortunate I wasn't a trouble maker and I am fortunate that they were so relaxed. My leash was long.

I am a very charismatic person so I talk to everyone. My dad is too so I usually meet a lot of people at KI. I have yet to meet any other KIC members but I know I will sometime this season. But your parents are probably right about the whole candy and van thing. Unfortunately there are sickos like that and some may be users on here who don't post and just read. You do have to be careful about what you say online. But most of the people on this website are just normal coaster enthusiasts like you and me.

Last time I went to Kings Island (Which was 2nd) I learned that you can see Kings Island from I-75. It's JUST barely visible, and you have to have a really trained eye on the Eiffel Tower, WindSeeker, Drop Tower, and Diamondback.

It also has to be clear out, it's really hard to see it if there is a bit of fog. I had a hard time looking for it on Google maps.

When you're driving southbound on Interstate 75, You want to look towards Trader World*, and at Mile Marker 30/0 You should be able to briefly see Kings Island. It's so tiny from I-75 it's almost like a Tic-Tak

It is VERY hard to see, but the Eiffel Tower of Kings Island is seen in it, WAY in the distance.

Well whoever goes to the park the 23rd, I am going that day. I will have 9 family members plus my 19 month nephew. So if you see me don't even come to say hi. I know a lot of you know what I look like from my trip reports thread. So if you will please not come say hi or anything if you see me at the park. I will post some pics from our trip. Thanks.

Isnt this the 2nd time this has been posted?

I am also excited for a Kings Island trip, as I am heading up to the park tomorrow- hoping for light crowds, which should be the case based on what I saw on the webcam today and the fact there is a chance for a storm later in the day. As for the 23rd...my sister may be there that day as well, but not me.

It's time to face Banshee again. And The Beast. And all the big rides I didn't get in on opening day, save perhaps Drop Tower (assuming it's still broken) and WindSeeker (with storms in the forecast I forsee wind and...well...you know how this ride is when it's windy). And probably a lot of the smaller rides too. :P
