Because updating a bathroom and running plumbing a sewage are similar? (No idea if there is a sewage line already running to Xbase).

It's not like Roller Coaster Tycoon where they can just pop in a bathroom by pointing at it.

I would hazard a guess that if there is no sewage line already run out that way it would take a good amount of money to dig the appropriate sewage lines out under Or around Racer.

There is a sewage line very close to Xbase but could it handle the traffic? I don't know.

With all the mechanical parts back in that area, I would assume there are a handful of floor drains, feeding into oil interceptors that then feed back to sanitary.  Oil lines are required to slope more than sanitary lines when gravity drained, therefor, the longer you run an oil line, the deeper your pipe gets, which only cost more in excavation, so its safe to assume there is some sanitary back in that area.  However, the question above is valid, if its enough to handle the foot traffic.  I would assume any sanitary run back there is at least 4 inches to help avoid clogs (though if you don't have solid waste, there really isn't much to clog up, so a 3" line may be feasible); you can get roughly 40 water closets (20 in the boys, 20 in the girls) plus 20 lavatories, on a 4" sanitary line.  That would be a hugely oversized restroom back there.  A 3" line reduces the capacity greatly (roughly 8 water closets and 4 lavs) and a lot of that would already have been accounted for in whatever plumbing they do have for the 2 roller coasters plus the service area.

How long has X-Base bathrooms been an issue?  Since 2007 when X-Base opened??  or 1996?

I am hoping for X-Base bathrooms! maybe I won't have to run to the bathroom after standing in a 2 hour line for Firehawk or Flight of Fear!

They're revamping the restrooms across from Hank's.

Hopefully this means they'll be installing at least one mirror. :)

Yes! Yes! Yes! One thousand times yes!

It might be weird that I'm extremely excited about this, but working at Adventure Express and having to use that restroom in the summer was horrendous. Thank you Kings Island. This is better than any giga would be.

I hope KI gets some cool pins like these at KD https://www.instagram.com/p/BDLxboeBi52/

They already do! :)

Oh and if you didn't catch the line in the article....."Not to mention, there is now this very nice open green space located across from Reds Hall of Fame Grill...we wonder what could go there?"

I got a set of those pins, at Coney Confections (home of $5 t-shirts and 70% off clearance of old stock). I'm a little surprised they're still available on the website, because all the ones they put into clearance sold out before the end of last season.

Fortunately KI has a lot of other cool pins that one can buy. At one point I went and took pics of everything that was available, and posted them IIRC for the person who was asking. I'll see if I can find the post.

Yep, found the thread: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php/topic/31107-ride-patches/

I doubt that this family center will be going there as the same article with that quote also states that the family center will be located "along International Street. Located adjacent to The Great Pumpkin Coaster". So this means that it will defintley not be located across from RHoFG. It defintely sounds like ti will just be taking place fo teh current family center building.

Sorry, I understand. The way you posted it thought you were implying that the family center might be going in that spot.

Just saw the webcams... wow, that's a good size clearing in Rivertown!

Also, It looks like one Bat train is on and most of Delirium's seats are in place. It's hard to tell because the view is from so high up. Can anyone confirm/am I correct in my thoughts?
