when I see this teaser and countdown I thought immediately an enchanted forest style. so I went and searched enchanted creatures and found two really interesting ones in Satyr and Manticore.

anyone else agree either of these could fit? also ironically they are both hybrid type creatures (not assuming just pointing it out)

Yeah, it really IS Christmas in July!

Interesting how the Nature Is Taking Over graphic reflects the stage design of Origins.

Exactly! I remember when I saw Origins in May, I commented that I wondered if the show itself was tied in to Project 2017 and if so, something BIG is coming!

Maybe we will have to bounce off of a trampoline to get to the loading platform!

I like the name Wendigo. Manticore would be cool also. I'd love Satyr, but that is almost impossible for a family park (look up classical images, but not at work or where your parents will see). Still leaning toward lumberjack references, myself, tho.

I'm going to go out on a limb here (heh), and say I think it is going to be the first (?) inverted wooden coaster. As evidenced by the logo for Christmas in July

Saw a horror movie called Wendigo a long time ago.

63 metascore. Not a good omen. :)

That would be cool. Is it even possible?

I seriously doubt the coaster is called Wendigo. Most people don't know about it and it doesn't sound menacing enough. Sounds like a Wendy's restaurant shuttle bus service....

Just imagine next week and the anticipation will be growing in popularity and numbers on this site like Banshee did in 2014. Cannot wait to see this as a trending topic on social media. Go KI Go !! I'm sure Don has a big right now.

In reference to the good ol' Splintercat name idea, I found the following tidbit to be interesting in light of the new nighttime-esque teaser images and a nighttime announcement.

"The splintercat is a nocturnal feline animal of great ferocity."

-Wikipedia, emphasis added

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Splintercat

The name seems to fit well with a lot of the teasers. (Falling trees, the cat with the text "Heads up," "the chicken runs at midnight," now the nighttime images and announcement time.)

Pointing out an observation. :)
