How many amusement parks (and theme parks) have you visited?

Recommended Posts

One habit I had when I visited a lot of the parks I've been to for the first time was visiting them the year before they built something awesome.  Some of these parks I've remedied getting those credits, others I haven't.

Here's the list-

Universal Studios in 1998- year before Islands of Adventure opened

Cedar Point in 1999- year before Millennium Force

Six Flags Great Adventure in 2000- year before Nitro

Hersheypark in 2003- year before Storm Runner

Dollywood in 2006- year before Mystery Mine

Cedar Point last year- year before SteVe

The calm before the storm I suppose.

You need to get back to Cedar Point! IMO, Maverick, Valravn and Wicked Twister (along with Steel Vengeance, of course) are worth it. Of course there's Dragster, Millenium Force (which doesn't give as much airtime as one would expect), Gemini and Blue Streak too...

Also, Storm Runner is worth the trip. Mystery Mine is also good, too.

Once I get settled into my career and make better money, I plan on traveling more and getting through at least the eastern part of the United States.

Not enough!!! It's hard for me to balance new parks with revisiting parks I've already been to and really liked... I only get so much time off per year, so where I spend the time is hard decision for me...

Cedar Point

Kings Island

Kings Dominion
