I was one of the very few people who enjoyed the original Meanstreak. People said the layout was boring, but I always rode it for it's roughness. I think wooden coaster roughness can go well with speed. On The Beast it makes the ride more wild and out of control (unless you ride it when it's to hot and the coaster meanders down the track for most of the ride). That's why I love to ride it in the back of the train (I probably couldn't have done Meanstreak in the back. I have limits).
