Quote We wanted to take a moment to thank you for your support of A Kid Again, and the Orion First Riders auction at Kings Island. To date, it is one of the most successful fundraising events in the park’s history. By now you may have heard that Kings Island’s opening day is postponed, and may be wondering how this will affect the Orion First Riders Event. We have been continuously monitoring and following regional and national health directives related to COVID-19 and we want to keep you informed on how these events will impact our park schedule. Currently, it is our hope to open Kings Island mid-May or as soon thereafter as possible. We believe this decision is in the best interest of our associates, our guests, and our community. As our opening date gets closer, we will provide you with more updates and details about the First Riders Auction Event. We appreciate your support during this ever-evolving situation. Investigate one of the VIP tours instead. There is no guarantee you will get to ride even one time, things happen. 4 thousand people could register and you are lucky to get one ride in while waiting 3 hours. Be OK with that possible outcome. There are few worse looks than asking for your money back from a charity, that is like Bond Villain bad.
