BeeastFarmer 5332
I am getting my first dose today. I am not excited about it and will not post the typical card and bicep pose. I wish the Johnson and Johnson vaccine had been rolled out sooner. I'd be much more excited about it.

Snowball 555
I probably have quiiite a while to wait. I'm 20 with no conditions that make me more vulnerable and do not work in healthcare. I can't lie, I'm a little jealous seeing you guys get your vaccines!

There are reports that park capacity has been increased to 40% with the reintro of park hopping (you can park hop again, but can't enter a new park until 2 give or take a few mins, assuming the park has capacity. You don't need a reservation for any park after the first, but do need to check the app to make sure there's capacity (most of the time, yes)). Disney hasn't said officially whether capacity has been upped.
JimParker85 131
First statement of the year from Knotts... Extending their passes into 2022 for every day they are closed in 2021. I wonder if they'll open at all this year. Awful. 2

They finally opened for their Christmas event and then had to close 2 days later, and now they're still closed. Such a shame.

gary58292855833 0
This is all so terrible. I cannot wait to get back into the park! I am hoping to get the whole family together soon to visit.

BeeastFarmer 5332
This is terrible news to wake up to. I had nothing but a great time when I visited the park and it was so unique. Pre-Covid it was doing so well.
SnakePlissken 547
That is fake news or a clickbait headline. The park is already in bankrupcty and filed years ago. They have a buyer interested in buying the park but due to said bankruptcy that has already taken place they have to go through the court and accept other bids. It is still bad news because someone could buy it and build condos. https://www.facebook.com/newconneautlakepark
CoasterFan3180 106
Looks like Disney will be keeping mask and social distancing protocols in place for the remainder of 2021, though they’re hoping to be able to drop them by 2022. https://www.wzzm13.com/mobile/article/entertainment/disney-will-keep-requiring-face-masks-for-the-rest-of-2021/67-e9c9c248-327b-49c9-aa2a-7bc8a5f59de5?fbclid=IwAR16V3G9rGSuRFgfHH0s9BhPRgYNMvXfeKGu2f0EE7bdShEH4Yvr9yG1-sQ
grsupercity 125
I was still able to visit 4 new parks last year and have plans to do the same this year. It seems like if states let parks open that people are still going
CoasterFan3180 106
Six Flags Magic Mountain is announcing that they’re planning on reopening with rides running this spring. Maybe they know something we don’t about California easing restrictions to allow parks to open?

CoastersRZ 5925
It is probably meant more as a way to put pressure on the state to let them reopen in some form.
