So, my son is at Kings Island today with his mom. Being overcast and a bit rainy, the park is virtually dead. in 2 1/2 hours, they have been on 8 coasters, not including a re-ride on The Racer.

He called me to tell me how much he loves The Beast re-track. He said that it's even better than the 1st time he rode it.  His one word description was, insane.

It improved the ride. It is no doubt smoother but it didn’t feel as forceful this time around, but it may have been because I have ridden more forceful rides now. You can get a pop of air on the first hill after the first drop if in 1-2. Speaking of 1-2, IMHO it’s the best seat

  • 3 weeks later...

My "luck" has finally improved with the post refurbishment Beast. Have been up there once a week for the last 3 weeks and have encountered no beast breakdowns or closures. If there was a problem I guess it's resolved or maybe I finally kicked that bad luck in the butt.

If you want some fun ejector, sit in the first three rows on the right side of the train (farthest seat from the loading gate). Try to see about giving yourself some space from the lap-bar.

Right after the second trim the train hits a bump and you get thrown out of your seat, tis fun.

Has worked for me every time I've done that. They haven't fixed the bump there yet but likely will when during the week of weekend operations.
