July 27th, people in party: Me.

This is quite possibly my best day at the Island ever.

I got in the park at around 9:45 and bypassed a huge gathering of people at the gate into Action Zone with my gold pass. Pure pwnage of non-gold pass people right there. Was planning to ride Delirium but they werent up for the day yet. Made my way over to Face/Of noticing on the way that they were powerwashing some part of Congo.

Rode the outwards facing seat that starts away from the lift hill (How do you number Face/Off cars anyway? ) A pretty good ride in itself. It still feels to me that I get more lateral G's in that ride when I'm riding in the middle seats. Oh well.

I unload and notice that Delirium is cycling. I get seat #1 on the second gondola of the day! Whoo. I'm so glad that Delirium is back up to its normal working order. Great ride on Delirium as it is just my second ever!

I make my way past the Festhaus and head into Cony Mall. The sign is back up if you guys didnt know yet. I reach Vortex and get a ride on 5.2.1 (Car, Row, Seat L-R) Nice ride, smoother then I remember. On the way back into the station I notice the old paint on one of the transfer track rails. Wow, it was really faded.

Unload, I make my way to Flight of Fear. No line seeing that it is about 10:15. I ride two times in seats that I forget right now but the launch was really weird today. It launched REALLY fast, I'de say 4-5 MPH over the normal launch speed, then the MCBR obviously slowed it down, but it slowed it down MAJORLY.

I was going into that left turn after the MCBR and we were going slower then one of those kiddie jeep things! I mean DANG! After two Flight of Fear rides, I head on over to the good old Beast. After one ride I look at the queue line..nobody...I ride again...and again...and again...ten times all together in succesion. After a few wheel rides (Rows 1 or 3 in any car) I needed a break.

I walk through Nickelodeon Universe (Which is looking better and better every day). I walk towards Flight of Fear and see there is a line...Nah, I'll just go back to The Beast. One more Beast ride, wheel seat. My head is really pounding now.

I take another walk through NU and end up at Flight of Fear again. After walking though puddles and stuff, I decide I need a nice queue'ing to dry myself off. I see that the line is outside and I assume that everybody has flocked to FOF so that the inside will be full too.

Nope. Just 2 lines outside and thats it. I didnt dry much, but it was a nice front seat ride on Flight of Fear, Train 1 left side .

After this steel encounter of a second kind, I needed some more wood. I head back to The Beast. So I'm up to twelve rides so far. Keep that in mind. I rally The Beast like no other.

Eight more rides. I have to take another break, I go to Vortex and get two rides and head back to The Beast. Ten more rides. I'm at thirty. Yes 3 0. In one day.

Now for some things I noticed while riding The Beast that the crew did very well with:

1) General Public complaning about the height of a rider and not being able to ride. The crew did a very good job of trying to keep the guest under control and managed the situation very well.

2) This was a large commotion at The Beast. Rider makes an innaproprate gesture at the ride operator and the lift is stopped for that train. I was the train above it in the brake run so I saw the whole scene. The operator explains why the ride has been stopped and the rider dosnt comply and the crew member informs him that security will be waiting for him when he gets off the train.

Rider shouts obsecitys at operator while he is walking the steps back up to the station. When the rider returns to the station, two security guards are waiting for him and his party. His party makes a big deal about the thing insead of doing the correct thing and just appoligzing in the first place. His party of about 6 block the exit for offcoming riders. More security arrive and I belive that his party was escorted out of the park.

3) Sup. noticed that a returning rider seemed awful short and asked to check him. He had a wristband that signified that he was tall enough to ride. The child and his parent obviously ran away as fast as possible, but the crew did try.

An all together good day, Thanks for an awsome thirty rides Beast crew! You've really made me belive in the ride again!

....and 30 rides?!??! Wow...I can only dream. I'd love to marathon Beast.

Ya I was there thursday and got there @ 9:30, rode face/off, drop zone three times then I made it just in time for the first two Delirium rides of the day. I love early ride times... Anyway ya we had a great day... we rode just about every ride at least twice. I also tried eXtreme Skyflyer because it was just 5 bucks. That thing is pretty sweet. we also rode Tomb Raider and something surprised me. After we watched the video we waited a long time to enter the ride. after ten minutes I asked the lady working there what was going on and she said they were looking for something a guest lost on the ride. I didn't think they would do that. She didn't tell me what it was the person lost. I also the coney mall sign was back up and at the gates there were signs that said 'welcome to Kings Island' without the paramount word or symbol. thats about it. an overall awesome day. we got all that in before we left at 3.

Yeah, I wouldn't doubt that you got 30 rides! The park was completly empty. I never saw Beast with a line more than 5-10 minutes. It was a very good day to ride, get in line, ride, get in line, etc.
