He may be on a site dedicated to another park, but what's the hurt in asking?

To answer your question, you probably won't get an answer out of us. Unfortunately, you're probably going to see more park upgrades then anything.

Agreed, I think the real question is when the announcment will be.

Not only do we at "PKI" Central not know what the '07 attraction is, we don't know what any of the former Paramount parks are getting! You will know what it is when it is given to the public.

No need to shoot him down or be rude Nemo he has the right to ask.

According to the news at the time of the sale petey, CF promised to honor the capital expenditures that were planned by former owners, CBS. In the past Capital expenditures meant new ride or multi-million dollar expansion, however with the cost cutting CBS had in mind and their lack of desire to keep the parks, the capital expenditures could be new benches and paint.

LOL @ King, New in 2007 at Kings Island, come sit on the worlds longest bench. LOL!

I'm thinking we won't get anything big in 2007, maybe an upgrade to the Waterpark, a small flat ride in Coney, but who knows. Hopefully we will be finding something out soon enough.

Was in no way even close to a rude post, he has every right to ask.

If Kings Island is not getting a ride what did Paramount have planed? Not sure if anyone can tell use here. Just thought I would ask.

Not to much news now days coming out of PKI.

Ill say it one more time. Just because the capital expendature is the same - does not mean that what the expendature is being spent on is the same. It just means that Cedar Fair is going to spend what Paramount budgeted for next year. They may have had a ride in mind - but may have had to spend that money on rehabbing Son of Beast - AGAIN. 7th try's a charm?
