I don`t believe that there was any "new" padding added to Vortex this year. The only change as far as I know was the addition of the seat belt. welchce Posted May 7, 2007 Share Posted May 7, 2007 I also rode Vortex Saturday and I have to agree that it was an especially spectacular ride. It could have been because the track was lightly misted with rain. Vortex should not be removed to "make room" because if King's Island has something that Cedar Point doesn't it's room to build.
