  1. And then you can call his brother who is also an ambulace chaser if you get cut on the razer wire in the dark and couldn't see it during Haunt......... Needs to be a law where if you sue someone/thing for a million dollars there is an automatic countersuit against you for 1/2 the amount and if you loose, you have to pay. That will take care of all the fradulent cases in this country that are clogging our court systems for years/decades on end. The only people who make out are the lawyers. Oh, and you only get 1 appeal.
  2. Watched the show today (it was FANTASTIC! They really tried to get the 2pm show off since they had not done a complete show yet) and nothing of the sort crossed my or my grandchildren's mind. (They knew about the incident). I would expect that most people wouldn't make the connection.
  3. Not sure if this was mentioned before but I rode Wookstock's Air Rail yesterday in the front and noticed the painted letters on the metal floor on the lift hill. Nice touch
  4. Coney BBQ had Baby Back Ribs (back) replacing Burnt Ends tonight. The signs out front reflected the change as well.
  5. While we're at it might as well bring back Grad Nights Isn't it a little bit of a mixed message when you're installing more "family friendly" rides and at the same time increasing the ability to have inebriated people walking around the park. (Nothing like spending a day with Drunk Uncle at KI ) Maybe the'll sereve a "Dirty Martini" at Pig Pen's Mess Hall
  6. I agree with your assesment. Ryan the Ride Mechanic 3 hours ago posted on YouTube that he will have a "new Top thrills 2 video tomorrow" at 2:30 CST. He included a picture of a portion of what looks like a letter/email on Zamperla letterhead with the sent date of Thursday May 16, 2(it cuts off) to Ryan at his email and the Subject is Top Thrills 2 opening da(cuts off again). Plus over on PointBuzz there are multiple reports of 2 of the trains cycling today. I'm guessing they will move heavan and Earth to try and get this up by Memorial Day weekend next week. Although I think alot of people have already re-arranged their plans to later in the summer. Interesting times indeed.
  7. This post reminded me of Steve Martin in the Jerk when he's describing what prizes are available to winners. “Ah, anything in this general area right in here. Anything below the stereo and on this side of the Bicentennial glasses. Anything between the ashtrays and the thimbles. Anything in this three inches. Right in here, this area, that includes the Chiclets but not the erasers.”
  8. I'm not too sure about the wait time being exteremly long. Basically because of the restrictions. Most people will need to get a locker and those will be at a premium this year. My guess is it won't hit 2 hours untill word spreads or they do a SV type locker system.
  9. Well, with media day over it's encouraging that I haven't seen or heard of any issues with the ride itself. We'll see how this holds up next weekend but I'm pretty impressed with no "bumps" in the road. Nice job CP and Zamperla. Hope it stays up so I can get a ride on my 55th birthday when I'm up there May 29th!
  10. I have not yet found it. It's one thing that I'm missing from last year (albeit it was off). You can see how many days you have visited if you look at the terminal when you go thourgh the gate, After they click ok an arrow shows up with a number. That number is the number of days you have visited this season. It would also be nice for the app to track how many drinks and meals have been used. It could, for example, show the last TIME each was used therefore taking the guess work out of how long until you can have a meal/drink. Lastly there needs to be a way to tell the difference between the Drink Plan and the Drink Plan + on the app. Hopefully these can be suggestions they can take and put in to improve on an already improved app.
  11. Looks like NFC to me. Could be compatible with a watch or phone. Just make sure that your phone is secure when riding the coaster. They could include them in the season pass (like with your bank card). I think when prices get low enough they will just do NFC tags. They are cheap enough now to put in a type of "magic band" and would operate much quicker than the QR Code.
  12. Went yesterday and also had the beef and potatoes and it was good. Noticed also that burnt ends are back at Coney BBQ. Interested in trying the new "quick serve" at Juke Box Diner. With the lines last year it definitely needed it but am wonderinig if quality will suffer. Hopefully not as the double stack is my favorite burger in the park. There also seems to be some confusion on where the Drink Plan Icees are redeemed. Will try and find out more today, but I did notice some people not able to use the "deluxe" drink plan (the one that included icees and coffee/hot chocolate) at the icee stand next to the french corner at the end of I Street. I overheard people saying there were 4 other places. Hope to find out more today, although it will be a little chilly for icees
